From my experience, the college environment is very good and peaceful.
Placements: From my experience, the college environment is very good and peaceful. There are a total of 25 seats for the food science course in the college. Since this case is not self-financed, only the exam fee and the university fee have to be paid. For some years, placements have been held in the college.
Infrastructure: The hostel has a good infrastructure. One of the important rules in this hostel is to follow the daily routine and study without any interruption. The warden will take good care of students. This hostel ensures the safety of students.
Faculty: Teachers are very good and provide notes. Teachers are also very friendly. Teachers test students' academic performance by administering class tests from time to time. They provide more attention to students who are lagging in their studies by improving their academic performance.
Other: I chose this course because I heard that the course and teachers are good and friendly.

Review of NSS Hindu College.
Placements: Some years, placements were held in this college. As part of the course, students got an opportunity to do an internship in big food manufacturing companies starting from the second semester. You could get a job immediately after completing the course. Choosing this college and course was a great decision.

It has good faculty members, good infrastructure, and facilities. Campus life is average.
Placements: Placements are not frequent. There are placements in some years. The college provides internship facilities so when students attend internships in companies they can get placed. The average salary ranges from Rs. 10,000-30,000 per month. Our course highlight is that it has good opportunities abroad. Graduates can work as food processing managers, quality controllers, etc. This is 4-years degree. One can do nutrition after a degree and become a nutritionist.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi facility. Mobile phones are not allowed on campus but rules are not that strict. Labs are well-equipped. There is a large library including all sorts of study materials. Hostel facilities are good. Food is not very tasty but maintains quality. Students are required to get into the hostel before 5:30 PM. The warden is well responsible and takes students to the hospital when required.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, supportive, and qualified. Their teaching is good. The course curriculum includes nutrition, food technology, and food industry management. Semester exams are not that tough. There are 2 minor, 2 language subjects, 1 major paper, and 1 multi-disciplinary course.
Other: I chose this course because it is affordable as there is no tuition as I am studying in an aided college. It also has opportunities abroad.
