Below-average college experience in the hills.
Placements: The students of my batch didn't get placed. I am a 2025 B.Sc. IT pass-out (same as BCA). Neither BCA nor B.Sc. IT had placements. Earlier, till 2017-18, companies like TCS, Wipro, and Capgemini visited, but since then no company has come to campus, so students had to search for off-campus opportunities.
Infrastructure: Our department is Computer Science, but the classrooms here are in very poor condition. The fans don't work, the lights are not good, and mosquitoes keep roaming around. The Wi-Fi doesn't work either. Electricity often goes out and comes back only after a long time. In the computer lab, the systems are outdated and run very slowly. Since the Wi-Fi doesn't work, we cannot make any proper project. The canteen of the college is below average, and the hostel facilities are very poor. The college is located in the hills, and the nearest market is 5–6 km away. Hostel rates are very high.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful but not well-qualified, and their knowledge is limited. They usually just translate what is written in the book into Hindi. Most of them could not get proper jobs, and as soon as they get a job, they suddenly leave the college. The course curriculum is not relevant and is outdated. It doesn't make students industry-ready. The semester exams are also not difficult, if you study the last 3-4 years' question papers, you can score well. To pass, a student needs at least 20 out of 70 in theory and 40 out of 100 in total.
Other: I did this course to get a job in the IT sector but can't get one, and my batchmates also have not gotten any job because the majority of students came to this college only for timepass. The course is outdated and needs reform, but this college is outdated in every term, whether in admission, fee submission, everything is offline. No sports facilities except volleyball. The campus surroundings are bad because nearby there is a garbage dump store where unusual smells come from. This college only knows how to loot students; they just increase the college fees every time. Please don’t come to this college, you will regret it.

Outdated college in every way.
Placements: They don’t provide any placement, just eat the fees in the name of training and placement fees, but no company comes. If they come, then it’s a marketing company that is just going to give you 2-3k, which is unacceptable. The computers are also so old they can’t provide you any coding knowledge for the interview.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is very bad. When your semester ends and you get a holiday, after that when the new semester starts, there is so much grass in the college. There are frequent power cuts every time, no Wi-Fi, and if you are able to get Wi-Fi, then there is no speed, you can’t even WhatsApp anyone from that internet. Canteen facilities are also not good; they are just average. The ground is really pathetic, no sports in this college except volleyball, and even that ball flies away.
Faculty: Some teachers are helpful but not knowledgeable and not qualified. Their teaching quality is not good because they don’t get jobs, so they are doing part-time work here. The course curriculum is not relevant, we still study an outdated old syllabus that doesn’t make any student industry-ready. The semester exam is very easy, everyone can pass and you don’t even need 75% attendance. Everyone who studies just one night can pass the exam by reading the previous 3-4 years’ question papers in short and making answers, and learning a little bit in regular class.
Other: I chose this course so that I could get a job in government organizations like DRDO, NTRO, etc. I learned about B.Sc. and BCA on my own, not through the college. But I urge everyone, if you really want to make a career in the IT sector, you need to learn a lot on your own, no college is going to teach you. My wish would be to improve the outdated course which isn’t relevant, for example, we study data encryption standards that can’t even be used anymore, but we don’t study new techniques. In our college, there is no fest, only a money-looting system.

Faculty is awesome and the view of the campus is beautiful.
Placements: 90% of students got placed in my course with a minimum 3 LPA package, and the highest package is 15 LPA. The top recruiters are Wipro, TCS, Infosys, Amazon, Tata, etc. Almost 80% students got internship and gained market exposure. The top roles after completing BBA is marketing manager sales manager assistant manager, etc. And it also depends on your personal choices, your interests, and all that.
Infrastructure: There are big and comfortable classrooms with AC, Wi-Fi and projectors. We have computer labs, 2 big auditoriums and a big canteen that offers us fresh and hygienic food.
We also have 2 big libraries for study.
And also a medical room for emergencies.
We have a big hostel with quality rooms and services like fresh water, gym, sports, clean washrooms, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are very kind and educated; they know how to teach and groom students for future and they have great experience and industry knowledge. They help students become industry-ready by using different teaching methods. The semester exams are moderate; you just need to focus and understand well to pass the exams and you will also enjoy the college life in so many aspects of this college .
Other: I chose this because I have interest in business-related knowledge. The surrounding area is like heaven on earth. The beautiful hills of Uttarakhand are located in front of college. The view is marvelous and there are lots of greenery around college. College provide lots of activities like yoga, running, gym, volleyball, table tennis, badminton, chess, carrom, cricket, etc.
Also, you get scholarship in academics and sports if you perform well .

Overall, I will give 4 stars out of 5 stars, including facilities, placement, and others.
Placements: Minimum percent should be 55% with a Science stream, and mathematics is mandatory for BCA. It is a program to equip students with the necessary skills and knowledge to pursue careers in software development, database administration, system analysis, web design, and other related fields in the IT industry. And many seniors who have been placed in multinational companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the BCA course typically includes well-equipped computer labs, classrooms with multimedia facilities, a library stocked with relevant books and journals, and recreational areas for students. Additional facilities such as Wi-Fi, projectors, and hostels are often available for students coming from distant places. The quality of food is good, available in the canteen, and we also have sports and games facilities.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers are very helpful, knowledgeable, and supportive, and one of the best things about this college is ragging is not allowed, and also seniors are supportive and approachable. BCA programs often commence with foundation courses covering fundamental concepts in mathematics, programming, and computer science. These courses establish the groundwork for advanced topics later in the program. And core subjects delve into various aspects of computer science, including data structures, algorithms, computer architecture, software engineering, database management, operating systems, and networking. And overall, the faculty and examination system for the BCA course are an average college aim to equip students with necessary knowledge, skills, and practical experience to pursue careers in various fields of computer science and information technology.
Other: I choose this course BCA because I am interested in computer fields because they offer practical skills highly sought after in today's job market, and the best thing about this course is they empower you to create, innovate, and solve real-world problems using technology and AI, and personal growth and professional success.

There is not much healthy food in the canteen, but the faculty members are good.
Placements: I am a BBA student. I have joined this college only two months before, so I don't know much about college. However, I have observed as much as I can. Few companies that visit here for placement drives are Capgemini, Byju's and other third-party companies. But most of the companies are marketing firms. I think the percentage of students who got placed is very low, which is approximately 20%. The salary packages are offered based on the knowledge of students and their performance in interviews.
Infrastructure: The only disappointing thing is the infrastructure. Facilities provided are not up to the mark, so I was not satisfied. There are labs. In the library, there are a lot of books for every course. But the internet was not available for students. The food does not meet my expectations. Some limited sports were available and, the background area is not very good for sports. Medical facilities were not available, and I have no experience of the hostel. But there is a friendly culture in IMT.
Faculty: Teachers here are genuine and helpful. They are also friendly in nature which makes teaching easy. Teachers are always available to help their students. They all facilities are very knowledgeable, and most of them are PhD holders. Industrial visits are also provided to students to explore their knowledge a little more.
Other: BBA course offers an opportunity to acquire professional skills in the early stage of your career as a management professional. This undergraduate course has a deep understanding and development of important business skills such as leadership, communication skills, critical thinking and decision making.

Bachelor of Journalism & Mass Communication - Batch of 2017

Our college is the best in placements and faculty members.
Placements: I have done my BA in journalism and mass communication from this college and passed out in 2017. The placement rate in this college is good from the last 4-5 years. Almost 60% of the students got placed from our batch in different media organisations. Our college also offers internships in the last semester.
Infrastructure: Our campus is not very huge, but it is quite wonderful. Our college is surrounded by trees and forest, which makes it beautiful. All the necessary facilities like computer labs, library and classrooms are good. The hostel is good, and the food available in the mess is fresh and good.
Faculty: Faculty members here are very humble and very helpful. Whenever we want help from them in any project and any assignment, they were ready to help and taught us. They are very qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is relevant, and it is easily understandable. Overall, faculty members and other staff members are nice here.
