It is a decent college with average placements and good campus life.

Placements: In Oriental College of Technology, placements are decent, especially for CSE/IT courses. Around 60-70 percent of students got placed, depending on skills and preparation. The average package offered ranges from 3-4 LPA. The lowest package offered ranges from 2-2.5 LPA. The highest package offered ranges from 8-10 LPA in some cases. The highest package is 17 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Capgemini, and HCL. Top roles offered are data analyst and software engineer. Students also get an internship through the placement.

Satisfied because it’s affordable for the middle class, and in terms of the quality of education.

Placements: In my course, approximately 80% students are placed every year. The highest package is 72 LPA, the average is approximately 6-7 LPA, and the lowest is 2.5 LPA. Top companies are Deloitte, TCS, Capgemini, and Cognizant. Not too much internship is available. Mostly it is sales, but every field has its own good demand.

Nice campus and supportive environment.

Placements: Currently, I am in my 2nd year, and in my view, 60-80% of students are placed, with the highest package of 12-15 LPA and the lowest package of 2.5-4 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, and Cognizant. About 40-50% of students get internships, and the common roles offered are software engineer, developer, and data analyst.
