I am satisfied with this college.
Placements: Top recruiting companies like Renew, Brio, Triveni Turbines, etc., visit our campus. It is good for a core student. Around 30% to 60% of students are placed, but you need to be skilled. Many students obtain internships. It provides a good opportunity.
Infrastructure: Our college has average hostel facilities. There are gyms and sports facilities available. The food is good. The campus grounds and sports activities are maintained regularly. The canteen is available on campus, not in the hostel. The gym is good, and the ambiance is quite calming. Some guards and wardens are always available.
Faculty: The course curriculum is good as per RGPU guidelines. Our teachers are good and friendly. The semester exams are done strictly as per university guidelines. The semester exams are quite average.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. It is best to learn about things that we use daily. It provided another perspective. A little bit more practical knowledge would improve it.

Review of Oriental College of Technology.
Placements: Our college placements are average. In our batch, out of 600 students 200 students got placed in our college. Many companies visit our college to recruit students. Our exposure is maximum in placement drives compared to other colleges. Most companies choose our college for open campus placement venues.
Infrastructure: Our labs need a lot of upgrades. During our batch, practical classes are conducted more, and recording the experimental data from the previous practicals was normal.
Faculty: A few faculty members were highly qualified. They always encourage students. They share a lot of beyond-the-textbook knowledge. A few faculty members are on a contract basis to have the minimum number required for each department. Overall, faculty members are average.
Other: The best part of our college was our canteen.

Review of Oriental College of Technology.
Placements: A huge percentage of students were placed in good companies with good salary packages. Students who were not able to perform well in core subjects also got offers from different companies in sales and marketing and other roles other than engineering. Lots of people got into IT companies irrespective of which branch they were studying in.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was average. It was very difficult for students to sit in classrooms, especially in the summer. It used to be extremely hot, and there was no electricity most of the time, making it even more difficult to concentrate on our studies. Hostels were average.
Faculty: The majority of faculty members were great. In our branch, there was always a shortage of faculty for some subjects. Those particular subjects had fewer classes compared to the others. Faculty members are knowledgeable. The teaching was good and regular.
Other: The overall experience was not very good.

Absolutely satisfied with the college.
Placements: I passed out in 2021 from the electrical and electronics branch. Oriental is a good college with good academic and placement records. Nearly 90% of students got placed in my batch. The average package offered was 3 to 4 LPA. The training and placement department is there to support you through out the placement process.
Infrastructure: Oriental College provides good lab facilities. The classrooms are good with good tables and fans. Hostel facilities are good, and the rooms are good, but the food is average. The library is very good with all the required books.
Faculty: The academic record of Oriental College is very good. Teachers are good and supportive. If you take their help, I am sure you are not going to fail your university exams. Lots of curricular activities are conducted here. A lot of clubs and groups are also present.

Students at Oriental for better future.
Placements: Placements are good in college, in my batch, approximately 80% got placed in many of the companies. Most of them are having more than one offer letter. Few who opted for government jobs or business only are left or else everyone got placed.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the campus is the art of culture. The campus is green and full of plants. The grounds are there for different types of sports. Moving to different floor lifts, we can imagine infrastructure as many websites and movies are being shot on the campus.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified from IITs, NITs, and premium institutions. Mostly PhD qualified faculty members are present in each department. They are very helpful in day-to-day life as we expect from engineering faculty members. The course curriculum is relevant and industry needed and passing of exam is not so difficult but strictly followed.
Other: Course gives flexibility to enter either in software or core industry.

Review of Oriental College of Technology.
Placements: In our course, 60% of students got placed in IT companies, and one student got an off-campus placement in a core company. Some students are preparing for PSU exams, and some are business aspirants. The highest package offered was 24 LPA. One of the girls received 64 LPA from Walmart, which was an off-campus placement. The lowest package was 2.5 LPA. Top recruiters for our electrical course were Triveni Turbine with 6 LPA and Digivalet for 6 LPA packages. Many students got internships from our batch. Everyone was into full-time opportunities only. Top roles offered were electrical engineer, software developer etc.
Infrastructure: There was no Wi-Fi for students, and it was strictly only for teachers. Labs were in poor condition. Labs are negligible in our college as they lack instruments. The classrooms are average, and the benches are not so good. The library is good. Books are available all the time, of all kinds. We had a good time in the library. I didn't spend much time in hostels. Students are responsible for maintaining cleanliness and a good environment. The hostel food is mediocre. The college doesn't have a good canteen. It's very small. Medical facilities are available, along with a nurse.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They are averagely knowledgeable. They can't assist students who wish to prepare for GATE or other India-level exams. The teaching quality is very poor. The teachers are either recently graduated or preparing for exams for different jobs. Teachers in our college are very insecure about their jobs. They just read books in class. Aside from the syllabus, teachers do not provide any additional information.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in electronic and electrical appliances and machines. It would be better if more practical knowledge was provided. An event is held once a year.

Review of Oriental College of Technology.
Placements: Salary packages offered in our college are not so good. Top recruiting MNCs are Wipro, TCS, and Cognizant but the salary package offered is not higher than 5 LPA. There are some start-ups coming up but you will not find more than 20 placements for each start-up. The college placement cell is like a garden. There will be a change every year.
Infrastructure: Our college looks good but the hostel food and use of money on infrastructure are very poor. Every next week, you find gardeners cutting good trees. They are not concerned about the money. I have seen them try to show their creativity by spending the money of students lavishly.
Faculty: Faculty members of our college are the worst. You will get less marks in sessional exams. If any faculty doesn't have interest in you, there is no road map to getting good sessional marks. The only thing is not to mess with teachers. HoD and upper management always look supportive but in reality, they are worse. I have seen people screaming like at a fish market.
Other: The campus is good but the management of the campus is poor. The college doesn't allow students to sit and relax on the ground. The canteen area is also restricted for most of the time. You can go for LNCT or SIRT.

I am satisfied with the facilities and faculty members, but not satisfied with college food.
Placements: This college provides average placements in our branch. Almost 65-75% of our college i.e seniors get recruited this year in our college. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 2.5 LPA. This course is not that relevant as many of the students have to move towards a non-core field.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure model of our college is excellent, just one thing which I love the most. All the laboratories, classrooms are well-maintained, and cleanliness is always their major priority. The quality of food is tasteless with limited items. Sports, medical facilities, playground, canteen, and other all facilities are available.
Faculty: Faculty members are polite, well behaved, highly qualified, and very motivating. If students interact and communicate more with the faculty, they can learn and grab concepts in more detail about every subject. There is no communication gap between faculty members and students. The minimum passing percentage to be passed in exams is 35%. The difficulty level of semester exams is average so that students can expand their knowledge and gain more advantages from it.
