A good college, not very poor.

Placements: 1 to 2% of students got placed in my course. 1 LPA to 2 LPA is the average package offered in my course. TCS is the only company that comes to my college to give offers. 2 to 4% of students got internships in my course in TCS and small private company. I don't know top roles offered by companies in my course.

Infrastructure: Average facilities and infrastructure are available. There is no lab and separate classrooms are there. I am not in college hostel. Canteen and mess are closed most of the time. Boys sports section is closed most of the time. Medical facility is average. Canteen food is average.

Faculty: Average faculty members are not top but they are giving their best. Exams are delayed many times and results are delayed for more than 4 months. This course curriculum is not relevant, and does not fully make students industry-ready. Semester exams are very difficult. Average CGPA of student is 6 to 7.

Other: I chose this course because I wanted to learn management. Many things would be improved in my course. Fest is held in my college and sports activities are also held.

The overall infrastructure is average. There was a good placement record in batch 2021-2024.

Placements: There are 40 to 50% of students placed every year at Patna College, Patna. The highest package is 7 LPA, and the lowest package offered to a student is 2.6 LPA. The major companies are local companies that visit our college campus and give the package of 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Overall, placements are average.

Infrastructure: Basically, I am doing bachelor of business administration from Patna College. The infrastructure is very old. The college buildings are not good. There is Wi-Fi lab in our college. We have non-AC classroom. The main hostel of this college ISC V Raman hostel. The infrastructure of hostel is also old. Average quality of mess food in our hostel. Medical facilities are available on our college campus and hostel.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable professors at our college. Some professors are good by nature and behaviour but some are not. Overall, teaching quality is good. The course curriculum is good, it makes the students industry-ready. The difficulty level of semester exam at our college is moderate. The pass percentage is more than 90%.

Other: My childhood dream was to become a good businessman so I chose bachelor of business administration. The best thing about my course is knowledge of how to do business, etc. There are small events organised by our college and students. The connectivity of senior juniors is good.

My college is very boring and the infrastructure is very bad.

Placements: 60 students are enrolled in our college for this course. But 30% of students regularly go to the class. In our college, there is no placement cell. No student got internships from the college. It has a poor placement facility.

Infrastructure: I am a student of Patna University. The infrastructure from the outer side looks good but after visiting the college from the inside, there is a very poor facility. Hygiene is not maintained by the college. Bathrooms are so dirty. The facility of drinking water is also bad.

Faculty: In our college, some teachers are good but many of them are not qualified enough. Some teachers are very supportive of many activities but in our university, no extracurricular activities happen. In our college, exams are happening well, but some students fail in exams.

Other: I chose this course because it is helpful for my future. In our batch, all students are good and have good friends.

From the best university of Bihar and top colleges of Patna .

Placements: Approximately 40% student got placed, with minimum package of 1.5 lakh to maximum 6-7Lakh. Some companies like Wipro, TCS recruit students from here. Approximately 50% students got a chance of internship. The lecture of teachers are so good and teachers are very helpful.

Infrastructure: Hostel facility are just okay, if you can't afford living outside campus. Facilities of hostel are not too good. Also room are very few so it's difficult to get a chance to have a room. It's better to live outside because you will be more consistent to your studies.

Faculty: Teachers are understanding and very patient. Teachers also provide guidance for career and future. Teachers help you if you ask them classes are not regular because of college miss management. For graduation you can surely option this college but not good in Post Graduate. Exam are always on, and mostly results are declared on time.

Other: I chose this college because it's from the best university of my state and very near from my location. I wish class should be more in number than now. Our college organizes so many events and fest like college day , sports days, fresher's, farewell, championship games, republic day, Independence Day, Saraswati puja etc.

The truth of the college for every student who are willing to take admission in Patna college.

Placements: Seriously speaking, the college will not help you with your placement and nor they do care. But off campus you can find some job but that too will not be reputed. From past years I personally have not seen any placement drive in the campus but may be in future it will change.

Infrastructure: Being a student I can clearly say that other college that are charging Lacs and Lacs of rupees this college stand out there. Total cost of completion of course take around 75-80 thousand (including all the examination fee and all). This is where this college stands out.

Faculty: The total curriculum is average. The class is average but when we talk about the studies, this college provide regular classes and the teachers are really interactive. Many knowledgeable teacher takes the class and in a friendly manner they communicate. But university exams are late.

Other: My batch was covid affected batch where classes were started very late and this further became a stress but soon every confusion were cleared.

A dissappointed college with lack of infrastructure and placements.

Placements: There is no any placement cell for undergraduate students however there is very few placement take place in post graduate students. The students pursuing undergraduate courses even it is vocational courses like BBA BCA and B.M.C. etc. Their is no any placement for these students. No any company come to this college for recruitment.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is not so good but as a government college it is okay. Hostels are very old but the college is renovating their hostels and I hope in future we see better infrastructure. And the buildings of college is very old and no any new modern buildings are available there. All the teaching process is done in this very old building build during the British rule. So in my opinion infrastructure is the worst.

Faculty: Faculty is very good and very friendly with us. Teachers are very cooperative and providing good teaching and also helps the students guiding for future career. But in this college there is lot of fights happening. When I am in college I saw many fights between the students take place especially between the hostelers.

Other: Doing any courses from this college is not so bad. Patna University is one of the oldest universities in India and the tag of this university is one of the greatest achievement for the students who want to pursue their course from here.

This college is not good for students.

Placements: In the name of placements, they keep bragging but still, no students were placed from our college. Few companies visit to hire students like Godrej, Flipkart, etc. The average salary package offered ranges from Rs 15,000 per month to Rs 20,000 per month. Many of the students did not know when the placements happened.

Infrastructure: In this college, very few classes were attended by the students because of the professors. Teachers were not interested in teaching students. They came just 10 minutes before the period ends, make attendance and they go. It was always the session that goes late. There was no facility of loan or concession available for the reserved category. That's how students spend the whole 3 years.

Faculty: Professors were very well qualified. The curriculum was not followed. There were no internships instead, students paid the library fees but were not allowed to enter the library. The semester exam was easy. Management takes interest in building up such an institution.

Other: I always wanted to do MBA so I opted for this course. There were no events but fests are held in the college.

I would recommend taking admission here.

Placements: In the BBA batch of 2018-21, only 58 students took admissions, out of which 45 students completed internships from different companies. Till now in this year, many companies came here for recruitment, like eClerx, TATA, and many others. The top role offered in our course is administration.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good, but when it comes to the department of BBA, there is no particular departmental block. All the classes of BBA are held in the department of economics. Apart from this, the whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Nice computer labs and library are available. The infrastructure of the hostel is good and affordable. The food quality in canteen and mess is good. All indoor and outdoor games facilities are available.

Faculty: All the teachers are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, but the teaching technique of each teacher is different. The course curriculum is relevant. The college provides a lot of knowledge for students to get a job in the industry.
