Having done my graduation and post-graduation from PCTE, I can honestly tell that PCTE Group of Institutes, Ludhiana is an amazing college as it left no stone unturned to help me develop my overall personality. PCTE offered me a practical learning environment and I was able to acquire the skills necessary to bridge the gap from a student to a professional The college was established in the year 1999 and is affiliated to Punjab Technical University. Since then, it has continued to excel in the field of education. It has been awarded 30 national & international awards of repute and has been making it to the list of top-ranked colleges by various national magazines and journals, including Outlook, Business India, AIMA, etc. We were involved in multiple activities like games, exercises, workshops like RAWAR, Consumer Hub to name a few. Not only that, but we also had multiple co-curricular activities to participate in, be it stage events, literary events, or creative, which made me more confident. PCTE also provides great placement opportunities as well where the maximum package offered was 15 LPA and the average is 6.5 LPA. PCTE also has an Entrepreneurial Cell, a recognised Incubator by Start-up Cell Punjab for students who want to start a business or learn specific skills to expand their existing business. Even the fees of the college are very reasonable as PCTE has been awarded 2nd & 9th Best College on an ROI basis by Outlook Magazine and is recognised by the state government University. So, this was my honest review of the college.

A college with good infrastructure and campus life.

Placements: Our college is very reputed so the highest package that a person gets is 50 LPA at Omni Resort and 19 LPA package in the engineering field. From BBA as far as I know, most students get placed at 3.5 LPA to 5.5 LPA. MBA students got more obviously but I am not quite sure about it.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is best in our college. We have three campuses and we have access to all. Wi-Fi never works in our college at all. Wi-Fi is installed but never works. Our mobile network also goes down there because the range of the network is low but sometimes it works seamlessly.

Faculty: Our class in-charge is the best person in this world. But the faculty members are sometimes not from the same field, and sometimes they are great. But they have too much work loads of different subjects on them so they have problems with that. Overall, teachers are helpful and qualified. PTU curriculum is not up to date but good enough. Semester exams are quite normal if you study.

Other: I chose BBA course because there was so much scope but I would suggest doing what you want to do. Don't think about placements or anything else just do what you really want to do when your heart says. I would say research well and just go with the improvement. I know in my first master's that management is related to science as well as arts but you know science is based on fact management, sometimes different, and extracurricular activities. There is no NSS and NCC.

Placements: It is a very big college; those students who score above 50% get placed in my companies like Coca-Cola, Infosys, etc. The highest package is 70 lacs per annum and the lowest is 2.5 lacs per annum It offered many courses, BBA, BCA, B.Com. engineering and pharmacy courses; it is the best college .

Infrastructure: They provide many facilities. They have international students who study with others; teachers provide well-educated education; they are very knowledgeable in their fields of knowledge; they have experience and knowledge; it has a playground and gym.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful; they teach us very humble; they were well educated teachers; they teach correctly; the exams were a little different and difficult, but with the help of the teachers, you pass; they have many activities like koshish and others; they have clubs like music.

This college is average, and the crowd is not good.

Placements: There are placements in Vardhaman. The highest salary package offered is around 10 LPA. The packages are normal in this college. It is average for a graduation degree but not for post-graduation as the packages are average, so I would not recommend this college to students.

Infrastructure: The quality of food in canteen is good. There are various canteen providing a different kind of food. There are more than 5 canteens on campus 2 km. The food is better than other colleges. There is a huge amount of good food. This college has the best canteen.

Faculty: In this college, teachers are not helpful. They are only doing event work or making their rating high on Instagram and Facebook. The teacher is not like to help students in their studies. Teachers are only giving projects and presentations and asking to prepare students.

Our college provides exposure.

Placements: Only 20-30% of the students from our course got placed. I am still a student, so I am not sure about the salary package offered to the students, but I guess students got a salary package of less than 2 LPA. Companies like Kapsons, Shoppers Stop, Levi, etc., visit our college for placements. Roles offered are according to the subjects you choose and which you are offered after the second year.

Infrastructure: Our college provides the best facilities. Our college provides fully air-conditioned classrooms, clean labs for testing, a silent library with a variety of books, a gym and a games room. Anyone can use the facilities provided by the college. There are about 4-5 canteens on one campus, and the quality of the food served is good.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and qualified. Some teachers even have experience of more than 15 years. They are polite, listen to students and clear their doubts. They always motivate their students. There are many extracurricular activities like presentations, a fest named Koshish, and you can participate in that, and it is fun. It is the best college for exposure and to gain good confidence.

Other: I have chosen this college to get great exposure.

Highly satisfied with everything in the college.

Placements: Placements are conducted by the college for all students on a large scale. The highest salary package offered was 10 lacs per annum, and the lowest offered was 3 lacs per annum. Well-reputed companies visit the college to conduct placements. Usually, managerial roles are being offered to students, and 100% of the students do an internship as it is compulsory.

Infrastructure: PCTE has the best infrastructure with well-equipped classrooms, clean campus, library, dispensary, gym, restaurant, and laundry. Everything is available on the campus. Food in the canteen is hygienic and tasty. Hostel rooms are spacious for single and double occupancy. There are no issues regarding the infrastructure.

Faculty: Faculty members are highly qualified and trained with a lot of industry experience and industry exposure. The faculty to student ratio is 1:12, and industrial visits are conducted every month for industry exposure. The course curriculum includes all types of activities from sports to studies.

The environment which you will get there can't be seen in any other college of Punjab.

Placements: The placement cell in this college works very well. If you want placement from college you can easily get a placement there. Only 30 percent student apply for placements offered by college and 90 percent people got a good placement where they can learn lots of things and gain experience which will help them for better earnings in future.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of college is average. There are some problems in infrastructure. There are some works done in college while the lectures are going on and that sound distract you alot. This happens once every month on average. Projectors are also not working good. Overall all the facilities are there but the facilities provided are average facilities.

Faculty: Turnover ratio of teachers in this college is very high. Due to this some teachers might be not good as expected. But overall the faculty is very supportive. They will teach you with practical examples and case studies. Teaching style in this course is very good because your teachers will teach you without any book. They will talk practical things which can be understood very easily.

Other: The college organises festival for 3 days which is very popular. There are lots of extra curricular activities which will help you to show your talent. They not only provide you bookish knowledge but they provide you full package.
