Great exposure for fashion students with a strong focus on portfolio building.

Faculty: Faculty members were quite involved throughout the design process. They would review concepts regularly and push us to refine our work before final presentations. The curriculum covered everything from fashion illustration and garment construction to textiles, trend forecasting, and portfolio development. Most evaluation happened through submissions, collections, juries, and presentations. It could get hectic during deadline weeks, but that was where I learned the most. The faculty was also acce...

Good learning experience for interior design students

Faculty: The faculty guided us throughout the course and were approachable whenever we needed feedback on our designs. The curriculum balances theory with practical learning so there is a lot of focus on studio work, presentations, site-related learning and portfolio development. Assessments are mainly through jury presentations, project submission and continuous evaluation. It feels challenging in the beginning but if you stay regular with your work and deadlines, it becomes manageable.

Pearl Academy, first batch of M.Des Fashion Design, ongoing semester 2.

Faculty: Faculty members are really great. All of them come from experience, and it can be seen in their work and teaching methods. The course curriculum is relevant as it not only educates us about textile and design but also helps us learn about starting a business. The semester exams are medium in difficulty. The passing marks for both written and practical exams are 40 out of 100.

The honest & unbiased review on Pearl Academy.

Faculty: Pearl is a good institute; teachers are good; it is required to work very hard, which is not a bad thing; the other thing is that it has a lot of nepotism; in one semester, work loads are unbeatable. It is extremely hard to develop all skills. Stitching, pattern making, and fashion illusions, if possible, try to learn them before joining. Keep consistent in class and have good grades in the teacher's books. Projects and assignments are very important because they have high marks.

Our college gives great industry exposure to the students.

Faculty: There are live industry projects. Our batch got a chance to work with a well-known brand, and it gave us industry experience and exposure working alongside these great personalities. Teachers are qualified, and for a few semesters, we also got to interact with faculty members of Pearl Academy, Delhi.

I am very happy and glad to be a student of Pearl.

Faculty: The teachers are the best thing about Pearl. They teach in detail and with sensitivity so that every single topic, no matter how hard it is, can be understood. I joined Pearl at the time where studying in online mode was only available, and there was a lot of uncertainty as to how we may be able to learn this practical course online, but so far, the way the faculty members have handled us with all the explanations and practical demos, it is safe to say that this academy has the best faculty memb...

It has good faculty members, good infrastructure and labs with the latest technology.

Faculty: The teaching methodology and the faculty members are very helpful here. There are module guides to students which help them keep a time check of the assignments and various other information. Faculty members even arrange master classes with various industry-related mentors to give us an understanding of how things work inside the industry. Sometimes there are even industry visits.

It is best fashion college in Mumbai.

Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and very helpful. Teaching is done mostly in a practical way with case studies and projects. The college conducts lots of industrial visits across and near Mumbai, different cities and even to countries like Sri Lanka, etc. The student to teacher ratio is around 5:1. The course curriculum is updated and also have on-call teachers for additional help.
