Absolutely hated it, four years of my life were wasted!
Placements: The placement percentage was average. There was not much strength in the class. When I reached the final year, the first years did not have many students. A bachelor’s degree was the only qualification offered. Only some local schools visited for placements. Around 6 percent of students got placements in nearby schools for subjects like English, Physics, Math's, Chemistry, and Computer Application.
Infrastructure: I would say it was average. It was comfortable, but it still needed a lot of cleaning. The classrooms and restrooms needed renovation, as they looked pretty old. The canteen was the only good thing in the college. The food and snacks were better. Games were encouraged, but that too was only satisfactory.
Faculty: The teaching quality was average. In my department, they just narrated the story and that was it. The pass percentage was 5 out of 10. The curriculum did not help much. They did not teach students to survive; they taught only to show the performance of the college. I did not understand why an educational institution did that, seriously.
Other: I liked English and enjoyed reading books. I thought I would gain knowledge about how writers worked, but instead the college focused only on basic teaching. English literature was considered a side note. Events were more like seminars or conferences. During festivals or events, there was no fun. When we tried to encourage dance or have fun, a teacher would say, maintain the decorum of the college and be quiet, especially if students from other departments did not obey. The event was abruptly switched to a vote of thanks and finished, with a few performances being cancelled. It was the worst experience.
