B.E. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2023
4.0
The students' experience has been great in this college.
Placements: Most of the students get placed in jobs that are either core or in marketing. The placements cell takes responsibility for every student and tries their best. The average salary package offered is 3.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: This college has all the necessary infrastructure, and facilities on the campus, but lacks the latest equipment in the laboratory. The classrooms are big and spacious. The seating is comfortable. There is no sports center, but the campus is having Wi-Fi networks. The canteen is also available.
Faculty: Most of the faculty members of our department are having good knowledge of their subjects. But only a few of them are having a doctorate. The syllabus is decided by this university, and the focus should be more on the practical subject.
Other: In this college, events are not held.

Absolutely Satisfied, because of Faculty, Infrastructure and Facilities In 2013.
Placements: Nearly 40% of students Of my Batch 2013 are placed, not sure but the package is around INR 3 LPA, recruitment Companies are Prothious and Kolte Patil Developers, Pune. Nearly 70% of Students done an internship at Construction Companies and Developers as per their convenience.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is Good, Wi-Fi, labs, Classrooms, the library is also good, Sports Facility is Available there Badminton Court, Football, Cricket, Volleyball Ground is there, Every Year Sports Competition is Taken. The hostel is also Too good, mess facility is good, Canteen, medical Facilities Available.
Faculty: 1) Teachers are helpful, Qualified And Knowledgeable, Teaching Staff and Quality is Good, one of the Best Faculty at the University at that time. Professional Environment is maintained at the College. 2)Course Curriculum is relevant to be a Civil Engineer, and it prepares Students as Industry ready.
Other: 1) Civil Engineering is Core Branch of Engineering, the Best thing is you can Practically see what studied to you. 2) Things to be added for improvement, of course, is Practical should be 40% to 50% of the curriculum, and 6-month Internship must be Compulsory.

It is a better place to grow up as an engineer, and the college has good infrastructure.
Placements: The placement cell works to provide placements to the students. But, the students are not taught what is required for the industry. Students do not get industry oriented knowledge. So, the students cannot perform well in personal interviews. The placement percentage of chemical engineering is better than other engineering departments. But, the placement percentage has improved in the recent two to three years.
Infrastructure: In case of infrastructure, the college can be rated 10 out of 10. There are two campuses, one is north campus, and the other one is the south campus. Civil, chemical, and mechanical engineering departments are situated in the north campus. The condition of hostel rooms is good. Food provided in the canteen is average. Labs are well-equipped with modern equipment.
Faculty: The faculty in the civil, chemical and mechanical engineering departments are highly qualified, and most of them are PhD holders. You have to attend the lectures regularly to escape from submission torture. Else, you will get harassed very badly. Industry exposure provided is very less.
Other: Only one technical event called Precision is held in January.

It is just for degree qualification.
Placements: No placements occurred for civil engineering department in 2016-17. There is no campus interview for any type of company. Neither extracurricular activities, nor professional courses are available. It is waste of money, as they take Rs. 2,000 for placements purpose.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is like okay. It is not like good college infrastructure with some standards. The lab equipment is of the 90s decade. No advance equipment is available. Sitting desks are too old. They cause injury too. They don't provide enough sports equipment too. No Wi-Fi facility is provided.
Faculty: Some experienced senior staff are very helpful. Other than that, there are no specialised teachers. And less practical knowledge is provided. It is provided just for the exam point of view. They don't teach applications, and there is a very few scope for the new project. There is a lot of scope for improvement.
Other: Precision was held last year, but there was very poor support from the management of the college.

I am satisfied and happy with My college campus.
Placements: Good placements took place in Pravara rural college of engineering, Loni. The various companies like LG Electronics, Sun pharmaceutical industries, John Deere, Forbes Marshall, etc. visited the campus. Many of needfull students got benefited by this placement. I am thankful for my college.
Infrastructure: The college campus is well-furnished by the facilities of Wi-Fi campus, hardware lab, software lab, microprocessor laboratory, chemical processing laboratory, wild tunnel laboratory, and hostel of 600 students capacity. Also full-fledged library with 35000 books. The facility of gymkhana and playground is available.
Faculty: The various engineering faculty members available like civil engineering, mechanical engineering, information technology, chemical engineering, electronics engineering, computer engineering, etc. with well-qualified teachers. The teacher helped us in every aspect by giving the best knowledge.
Other: Good extracurricular activities like February days, annual social gathering, Ganpati visarjan, etc. were organised in the campus. Also, the beautiful and clean campus is provided.

The college is good but not excellent.
Placements: Placements are not so good. This time is of IT & computer, so IT & electronics students got placements but not others. A very few candidates of mechanical engineering got placed. Local companies come for the placement. Don't expect for multinational and large companies here.
Infrastructure: This is the plus point of this college. The infrastructure of the institute is much better as you compare in the circle. The college started in 1983 so infrastructure they have developed very well but you should use it. You may not like the canteen if you've seen the canteens in the colleges of the metropolitan cities. The college is divided into two campuses- south (electronic, computer, IT, instrumentation) and north (civil, chemical, mechanical). The canteen in the north campus is bad, but canteen at the south campus is good but not up to the mark. And when it comes to north campus, it is situated inside so you have to walk for long if you don't have a bike. Because on a daily basis, we can't afford the auto-rikshaw fare in student life. The college has provided a good library and study room so you can study well.
Faculty: For the civil, mechanical and chemical streams, the faculty is good but not the same story for the other departments of engineering. When I was in the last year, the faculty for civil was going to change, as new professors had joined and experienced had left the college. The faculties for electronics, IT, computer and instrumentation are not so good. The college has a negative point that it gives preference to the local and not for the talented for faculty. The college's founder and his family is in politics, so they have to get their vote for sure.
Other: The college has provided hostel and mess facility but the college tries to make it compulsory. But this story was going to change in the 2015-16 when I was in the final year as the college got a new principal. In the college mess, non-veg food is not available, only pure vegetarian. So non-vegetarians may not be happy. The college is situated in the rural area, so if you're coming from an urban area, you might get pretty bored.

Review of Pravara Rural Engineering College.
Placements: Top recruiting companies are Toyo, etc. This company selected many students. About 25% of students got placed in our course. There are many chances to get placements in our college. The remaining students got placed in other companies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, a separate library, and a drinking water facility are available in our college. All classrooms are comfortable.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching techniques are good. The course makes students industry-ready. Exams are very difficult. The pass percentage is more than 90%.
Other: I opted for this course because I like the civil engineering field. It provides practical knowledge.
