Overall the college is good .

Placements: 80% students were placed every year from the College of R. V. SCET, Jamshedpur. The highest package was 7.5 Lacs and the lowest package was 3.5 Lacs. The most recruiting companies which comes in college are: Nathcrop , Behive, TCS, arf design and many more.

Infrastructure: College is situated in the rural area. Transportation facilities of the college is poor. For hostel students the college provide bus facilities in sunday. College campus include canteen and shop facilities. Overall infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi facilities are also available.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. Teachers motivate in every aspect of your life. In the mid of semester exams two internal are conducted. And those internals are very good for the preparation of semester exams. Pass percentage is 90+. College is affiliated to JUT.

Other: Ekalyan scholarship is provided by the government of Jharkhand. In the college campus you will also get scholarship.

Overall a good B.Tech college .

Placements: Placement percentage - 80% every year the lowest package - 2.5 LPA the highest package - 7 LPA Average package - 3 LPA Top recruiting company - IB Arts, Kirti technology, tcs beehive design arf design. Overall the placement is good in this college. The placement of civil is almost zero .

Infrastructure: Facilities of our college is - vey good infrastructure, Wi-Fi, different computer lab, mechanical lab, civil building. The quility of hostel is very good, and mess is also provide good quality food. The college is in the rural area. Transportation facilities is poor.

Faculty: The teacher is in our college is very helpful The course offered by our college are B.Tech all branches, MCA BCA BBA Maximum students are passed the semester exam. Internal examination of this college is strict 75% attendance is almost compulsory in this college.

RCVS College of Engineering (RVSCET) has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

Courses	Eligibility
B.E. / B.Tech	Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. They should produce Original Nativity Certificate. Children of Central Government Employees, irrespective of their nativity, provided their parents or guardians (only if both parents are not alive) have been serving in Tamil Nadu continuously for the past five years can be eligible to apply. Sons & daughters of All India service Tamil Nadu cadre officers are eligible to apply. A Self declaration from the parent in this regard is to be produced. Children of employees in the Public Sector or Government recognised institutions had been working in their organisations for the past five years are also eligible, irrespective of their domicile. Other State candidates who have studied VIII, IX, X, XI and XII Std. in Tamil Nadu are eligible to apply.
MBA/PGDM	Candidate must have completed Bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration with minimum 50% (45 % for reserved category). The qualifying degree examination can be 10+2+3/4/5 years pattern or 10+3 years Diploma +3 years pattern or B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Pharm. or 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field. Candidates admitted through Lateral Entry in degree courses are not eligible. Candidates with degree obtained without studying 10th/12th Std. or 3 years degree programme are not eligible. Candidates appearing for the final semester/year are also eligible.
M.E./M.Tech	Candidate must have completed B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent in relevant stream. Candidate belonging to reserved category must have 45% in qualifying examination. Candidate who have completed 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years Diploma + AMIE are also eligible. AMIE candidate must have 2 years regular full time experience in the relevant field. Candidates with B.E./B.Tech. degrees obtained through Distance/Weekend mode are not eligible. Candidates with degree obtained without studying 10th/12th Std. or 3 years degree programme are not eligible. Candidates appearing for the final semester/year are also eligible.
