- The CUET UG 2026 registration window is expected to open in the first week of Mar 2026 for admission to UG courses.

The Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University is a government university. It was established in 1926 as a Government Intermediate College and it was upgraded to a state university in 2017. It offers scholarships and financial aid to students from economically backward backgrounds. It is one of the oldest government college in Ranchi with a very low fees. It offers in total 39 courses across 6 streams. This college also has 149 total faculty members.
Dr. Shyama Prasad Mukherjee University is good for BA course as it is a State government, University. The university offers this course at 5.5 k to 11.1 k tuition fees.
