It had average infrastructure and placements in 2020. I'm unhappy as it has no canteen and hostel.
Placements: Students who have a rank of below 8000 were given admission to our course in our college. The average salary package offered to seniors of our stream was 1.25 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was around Rs. 96,000 per month, whereas the highest salary package offered was 1.8 LPA. Top recruiting companies here were TCS, Tata Steel and other electronics and electrical companies. Around 40%-50% of the students got internships for the post of junior engineer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the building is very appreciable, but it's very disappointing that the college doesn't have hostels and canteen. However, our college planned to provide them, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all these discussions were put aside. However, the medical and sports facilities are very good. Wi-Fi, lab and library facilities are available here.
Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful, friendly and highly educated. They are qualified. Moreover, their teaching style is very good and understanding. Both the practicals and the theory part are given equal importance here. Even on these days, when the COVID-19 pandemic is in peak, they have not stopped conducting classes. Online classes are being held regularly.
Other: I chose electrical engineering because it's a very interesting topic. It is a vast topic, and there are many reasons for me to choose this course. My ambition is to study robotics, which I can do after this course. There is a need to make some improvements in this course. Since there is a vast syllabus, it needs to be short, and practicals need to be given more importance. A lot of events like annual fest, musical fest, dance fest, inter-college sports tournament, etc., are organised here. Scholarships are available for deserving students for their future education.
