This year's subject, ‘Incubating Innovators,’ shed emphasis on the different avenues of exploration open after completing a conventional architecture school. The initiatives of RED Studio, as well as Ar Biju Kuriakose's thought processes, were incredibly inspiring and encouraging to the young brains. Both Ar Manjula Inian and Ar Sundari Ganapathy defined their individual trajectories after architecture in a clear and concise manner, igniting the students' interest while highlighting the different options available to them. The professionals patiently addressed all of the students' questions, sharing their incredible personal stories and igniting a fire in many of the youngsters. The panel discussion was hosted by Ar.T.Vennila, where Ar. Balachandar Baskaran spoke on space architecture and Ar J Saravanan stressed diversity in what has been criticised as cookie-cutter retail design, was the highlight of the programme. While Ar Vignesh Premkumar focused on his work in planometry, Ar Shagul Nizamudeen focused on architecture lighting super-specialisation. The entire workshop was a brainstorming event, with eye-opening talks, inventive design avenues of concentration, and really interesting cross questions linking the numerous lines of thinking presented.

Student work exhibitions, student ice-breaker activities, and different informal competitions such as model making, shark tank, and so on all drew large crowds. The prizes were delivered by Ar Uma Ramanathan, Principal, Rajalakshmi School of Architecture, to students from Rajalakshmi Engineering College, Saveetha School of Architecture & Design, and VIT.

The Alumni members were ecstatic about their achievements and emphasised the value of mentorship from senior faculty members, who had played a key role in their success. They all commended the institution, the employees, and the department heads, recalling the important role they played in their professional lives.

I am satisfied because of the faculty members, good placement, good infrastructure, etc.

Placements: There are no placements in the architecture course. Most of the students got an internship in many reputable companies. We can be interior designers, architects, landscape architects, etc. Many top companies visit our college to recruit students from our course.

It has a good set of faculty members. It has fun-filled learning.

Placements: Basically, for B.Arch, there are no placements. But in the 5th year, you would get many contacts from the faculty members, which will be more useful for you. There are many places where our seniors got placed. Roles like interior designers, art directors, etc., are offered here.
