A total of 50 students can pursue MBA in Energy Transition Management programme offered at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology. The institute follows the Reservation policy as per the Government of India directives. The seat allocation to the SC, ST, OBC, General and EWS categories is in accordance with the Government rules.

Candidates seeking admission to the MBA Business Analytics programme offered at Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology must meet the RGIPT MBA BA eligibility criteria. Candidates with a valid score in the entrance exams must have obtained at least 60% aggregate (55% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) in the Class 10 and Class 12 exams and must have a Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Engineering/ Technology OR a Bachelor’s degree in BSc/ BCom/ BCA/ BA (Mathematics/ Statistics) with at least 60% aggregate or 6 CPI on 10 point scale (55% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates).Candidates who do not have a valid score in the entrance exams must have obtained at least 65% aggregate (60% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates) in the Class 10 and Class 12 exams and must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any branch of Engineering/ Technology OR a Bachelor’s degree in BSc/ BCom/ BCA/ BA (Mathematics/ Statistics) with at least 65% aggregate or 6.5 CPI on 10 point scale (60% aggregate or 6.0 for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates).
