RGIPT BTech IT Cutoff is based on JEE Main and JEE Advanced rank and scores obtained by candidates. RGIPT last round closing rank for BTech in Information Technology for the year 2022 was 19269 while the last round closing rank for the same in the year 2021 was 26140.

RGIPT M.Tech course admission 2024 is entirely entrance-based as the institute accepts the scores and rank obtained by candidates in the GATE or written test and/ or interview. Admission to the M.Tech programme can also be based on any combination of these as declared by the individual department.

RGIPT fee structure for the BTech programme is broken down into multiple components, such as tuition fee and, one-time fee. Apart from the tuition fee which ranges between INR 10.41 Lacs - INR 10.80 Lakh, candidates are required to pay the one-time fee of INR 1,416 and, INR 30,000 for seat blocking.This fee is sourced from the official website of the institute/ sanctioning body. RGIPT M.Tech admission 2024 is entrance-based. Given below is the detailed RGIPT M.Tech admission process:STEP 1: Application ProcessFill out the online application form available on the RGIPT website. In the online application form, candidates must provide their personal phone number and email ID and must pay the non-refundable application fees of INR 500 (for General and OBC candidates) and, INR 250 (for SC, ST and, PwD category candidates) before filing of application form.STEP 2: Selection CriteriaFor the full-time regular registration category, candidates are shortlisted based on the GATE score or written test or interview or on the basis of any combination of these as declared by the individual department. RGIPT follows the seat reservation policy for the BTech programme as per the Government of India directive. In addition, following the Government of India directive and to encourage technical education among the girls, few seats are reserved for female candidates on supernumerary basis over the current strength.
