No, After completing LLB you become a lawyer, however, you are still not an advocate and hence cannot practice law. Our college is an emotion and we enjoyed a lot during the 2 years of the course.
Placements: About 80% of our college students were placed. Every year, many students from inter-state select this college for their studies as it is very lenient and at the same time, helps students to focus by giving them assignments and research work.
Infrastructure: The college is situated in the heart of the city and offers all courses related to law. One con is that there was no canteen on the college premises as the college is surrounded by more than 8 hotels and restaurants within 200 meters radius. It had a good library with all books. There was a good moot court and a big auditorium.
Faculty: Firstly, faculty members in our college were very good with more than 20 years of teaching experience. Most of the teachers had Ph.D. and a few guest lecturers who have been practicing as an advocate came to our college to teach. Hence, they gave us more practical knowledge that helps us in building great basics of law and makes us more interesting. Their lectures kept us motivated.
Other: I completed B.Com and joined 3 Years LL.B. course in the year 2020 and the course will end in 2023. Due to covid, there is a lag in academics. Though it is a 3 years course, it has been extended for more than 6 months. Our college organises more studies-related competitions and has fewer cultural events. We have college working on Saturdays also. It would have been very nice if we had got a holiday on Saturdays.
