The exam authorities prepare the results of the candidates once the AP LAWCET Final Answer Key is released. The exam authority prepares a category-wise rank list and, in case marks/ranks of two of more candidates the same, then the following method will be implemented to resolve the ties:
- Candidates who have higher marks in the Aptitude for the Study of Law section will be ranked higher
- Also, candidates who obtain more marks in the Current Affairs section will be ranked higher
- If the tie in rank still persists, then the age of the candidate will be given preference
