A growing campus with opportunities and challenges.
Placements: Placements at RGUKT Ongole were still developing. While core companies visited less frequently, students found opportunities in IT, software, and startups. Many pursued higher studies or off-campus jobs. Skill development and internships helped in securing placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the course and hostel at RGUKT Ongole, the campus had well-equipped classrooms, labs, and libraries for technical learning. The hostel facilities included shared rooms, Wi-Fi, and a mess. Sports, medical, and recreational spaces were available, but improvements in maintenance were needed.
Faculty: Faculty members were knowledgeable but varied in teaching quality. The curriculum followed a blended learning approach, covering both theory and practical. Exams included midterms, assignments, and end-semester tests. Continuous assessment helped in learning but can be stressful.
Other: I chose EEE due to my interest in electrical technology. The best parts were the practical labs, projects, and career scope. However, it needed better industry exposure and an updated syllabus. Fests, events, and clubs added fun. The campus crowd was diverse, connectivity was decent, and scholarships helped students.
