Good faculty, minimal expenditure, and good hospital.
Placements: It is a good college with all major health care facilities. You get a good pay of about Rs.27000 per month during the internship. Might as well apply for residency after graduation as the hospital is hustling and bustling with a good amount of patients. The pay is also good as it's a central institute. There's an internal RIMS quota for RIMS pass-outs helping them secure seats in MD/MS courses.
Infrastructure: Decent classroom, no Wi-Fi for students, large library with a good amount of standard books. Mess food varies from hostel to hostel and they serve only local-styled curries. Canteens are present in almost all corners. With the hospital being attached to the college, medical facilities are available 24*7. Facilities for outdoor and indoor sports are also available.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified enough as it comes under the supervision of the central government, not the state. It makes students well prepared to serve the patients in any scenario. Semesters exams are moderate-difficult with pass percentage being around 92%, though it varies batch-wise.
Other: MBBS is one of the esteemed courses out there and the security of obtaining the job post-completion is high. Every year college conducts a weekly fest called RIMSAM. You can apply for scholarships from the central government portal.

A great place to follow your dream of MBBS.
Placements: Almost 95% of students work with big hospitals like AIIMS Cmc, Fortis, and Apollo. The college has tied up with AIIMS Bhubaneshwar and most of the students get a LOR for working there. The MBBS package is almost around 80,000 per month. The postgraduate courses are more famous with monthly journals coming out as some of the bests in the country.
Infrastructure: The classrooms and labs are well-equipped with all the latest technologies and amenities. The hospital has high-end diagnostic procedures and setups. This is one of a kind hospital in the Northeast. The hostels are drawbacks with old buildings, not very good food and irregular water supply.
Faculty: The college follows the latest NMC curriculum with all the new amendments coming forward. The professors are overqualified for their jobs with some of them being the finest in their respective fields. They are very open to solving all the doubts of the students and helping them at any given time. Semesters are moderately tough and the pass percentage is 70 %.
Other: Less recreational opportunities as the location are not good. No nightlife. No good place to eat except for some 4/5 stars restaurants. Adjusting to the local life is a bit tough if u come from outside the northeast. The campus is very beautiful with the most pleasant weather throughout the year.

The college is excellent with friendly faculty members.
Placements: I will complete my course in the year 2022. It is a government medical college, and less number of seats are available here. The highest salary offered by private hospitals is 2 LPA. Roles like emergency and management of all surgical cases are offered to the students. The highest salary package offered in our course is 4 LPA. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 70,000 per month.
Infrastructure: The college provides facilities like library, Wi-Fi, labs and classrooms with modern teaching aids. Quality of facilities in hostels is very good and hygienic. Only food is the problem here. Canteens are not managed by college authority, and inside the campus, private canteens are organised. We have to take food from that canteens only, so we prefer cooking for ourselves.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very well experienced. They are very friendly, and they support us in every situation. The academic is very good here as compared to other colleges. The main asset here is the academics and friendly faculty members.

I am absolutely satisfied with the college in all aspects including studies and campus facilities.
Placements: There is a very high rate of job opportunities after completing the course here. Every year, most of the students who complete their course from this college get qualified for All India NEET PGT exam. The stipend offered during the internship is quite satisfactory; they offer Rs. 19,000 per month which will be increased to Rs. 23,000 soon.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of some of the departments is very good. PMR department is ranked 2nd in all India after JIPMER with a high quality of instruments. Classrooms and labs are good with digital imaging studies. There is a mini ground inside the campus for sports.
Faculty: Teachers in college are very helpful. Most of them are highly qualified with lots of experience. They follow digital teaching methods along with projectors. Overall, it's very good to get practical exposure to the patients, and lots of patients come here for treatment.
Other: Every year, a college fest named RIMSAM is conducted during the 2nd week of March. There are lots of opportunities for students to show their talents in extracurricular activities like literary, sports, and cultural events.
