It is a very good college.

Placements: No placements are provided in our college. If we want a placement then we should go off-campus. From the different companies, we will get placements and experience. Our college does not provide placements. If companies visit the college to give placements, then the salary is very less not satisfying.

Infrastructure: The textile design course in our college is very good. The hostel facility is also good. Hostel rooms are very clean. Bathrooms are also good and the garden is very beautiful.

Faculty: The semester exam arrangement is very good in our college. Our course help in the future not only in jobs but also in business related. It is a very good course and it helps us in different departments. Teachers give us a feel at home and they love us like parents. Teachers are very polite and they teach us about textile design and how this course help us in the future.

Other: Our college campus is much better than other colleges. It is very good. It has beautiful trees. The pond is also present in our college and it looks very beautiful.

Candidate must passed H.S.L.C./ 10th or equivalent examination with Mathematics and Science as compulsory subject in a single sitting (without grace marks in Science and Mathematics) and also have to pass individually in both theory and practical/ Internal Assessment with minimum 40% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for General/OBC/ MOBC candidates, 35% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for SC candidates and 33% marks on average in Mathematics and Science for ST Candidates, from a recognized Institute/ board. Candidate must register in www.dte.assam.gov.in for admission offered by SCTE. The Maximum age limit for UR/OBC/MOBC is 20 years 6 months as on 31-12-2024, for SC/ST, maximum age limit is 23 years 6 months as on 31-12-2024 and for PH/PwD, maximum age limit is 25 years 6 months as on on 31-12-2024. NOTE: No compartmental candidate will be allowed to take admission. For Rank Generation Marks of Four Subjects (Maths, Science, English And Social Science) will be Considered. Candidates must be an Indian Citizen and a Permanent resident of Assam . [Except son/daughter of central Govt. Employees). Permanent Resident Certificate (PRC) must be produced at the time of Counseling. Physical Fitness (Optional): Candidate must be physically and mentally fit. Candidate will have to produce fitness Certificate at the time of admission from a registered medical practitioner as per enclosed format. Eligibility for Sports Quota: Candidate must be a medal winner of State Games/ State Championships/ Tournaments organized by Assam Olympic Association/ State Sports Association/Directorate of Sports & Youth Welfare, Assam and will be decided in order of Medals of Gold/ Silver/ Bronze received. The medals received by the candidates must be within the period of last 3 years. Eligibility for NCC Quota: Selection of candidates for NCC category would be considered in order of merit as per NCC Examination Certificate. NOTE: Candidates are asked to submit the documents of the NCC camp attendance. In case of tie in NCC certificate and grade, the camp attendance will be considered for deciding rank.
