I am satisfied with the faculty and the course.
Placements: Rewa Engineering College (REC) in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, has a dedicated placement cell and career development centre that works to help students find placements. While the college has seen placements in companies like IndiaMART, Capgemini, Infosys, and TCS, the placement rate and salary packages vary by department and year. Some sources suggest an average package between 3.5 LPA and 4.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. A new building is being designed this year. Rewa Engineering College also started to provide M.Tech, for which a new building was constructed. They have 4 playgrounds for playing sports like football, cricket, volleyball, kho-kho, etc. They have good labs.
Faculty: The institute has a team of highly qualified, experienced, and dedicated faculty and committed supporting staff. Many of them are Ph.D. and M.Tech. Degree holders have published/contributed a large number of high-quality research papers in international and national journals and in conferences of repute.
Other: The college is too good, according to the fees. Don't expect anything beyond that. But the college is better.

Overall, my rating is good.
Placements: Around 70–75% of students got placed, mostly in software roles. The top recruiters were OpenSense Labs and Red Hat. Placements were okay. Placements were not the main concern, as students could also try off-campus, and they would get time to study.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was good. You could consider it more than average, in the good category. It was still in the building phase, but the overall infrastructure was good. The college had all the necessary labs and equipment, as it was a government college.
Faculty: Faculty members were good and well-experienced. There were no attendance rules or policies for students. So they could prepare for their placements or other exams during college hours. Faculty members were very supportive and knowledgeable, as the majority were IIT/NIT graduates and Ph.D. holders.
Other: You can do B. Tech from here as the fee is very low at Rs.22,000 per year. For placements, you can prepare on your own, and the placement coordinator can help you get off-campus placements.

My college is the best in central India, featuring numerous expert faculty members and departments.
Placements: Almost all the students got placed in my branch. The highest package is 6 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 5.5 LPA. L&T, Ultratech Cement, and HMBS are the top recruiting companies. Nearly all students secure internships with reputable companies like NTPC.
Infrastructure: My college is set on 250 acres. It features a large campus with numerous facilities. Every classroom has a skateboard and a big library. All branches have their dedicated labs. There are two boys' hostels and one girls' hostel. The college mess maintains hygienic conditions.
Faculty: Almost all faculty members are from IITs and NITs. They are very supportive and help us a lot. There are mid-term and sessional exams in each semester, which are of moderate difficulty. We must pass these exams with a score of 50%, and if we fail, we have to retake the exam.
Other: I chose the civil engineering branch because it is the best branch in my college. All my faculty members are highly regarded. A cultural fest called AARAMBH is held every year.

Rewa Engineering College review.
Placements: According to my seniors, approximately 30 percent of the students were placed last year. The highest package was 15 LPA, the lowest was 1.5 LPA, and the average package was 4.5 LPA. Some students got off-campus placements because they had good skills, so they were able to get better packages. However, the college does not include these students in their placement percentages.
Infrastructure: The college has four playgrounds, two hostels, one for boys and one for girls, a library with over 10,000 books, and a vast campus of about 120 acres. The facilities are quite good in the hostel.
Faculty: The facilities at Rewa Engineering College are very good, and the professors are friendly and well qualified. Some of them have studied at different IITs and NITs. The course curriculum is updated and is directly operated by RGPV University Bhopal. The semesters are quite difficult, as is the level of the engineering exams.
Other: I chose this course due to my passion for engineering. There are 2 fest every year college host for is Arrambh and second is Aagaz.

The placement rate of this college is growing, and the faculty are very sincere with their job.
Placements: In my college, the students who have got GATE all India rank below 100 in CSE get admission.
Placement in CSE is average, as in 2024 the highest package was 13 LPA and average was 3.5 LPA.
Students were placed in CSE; almost 40% of the students were placed in CSE and many other students were placed of other branches.
Infrastructure: As our college was started in 1964. It is one of the oldest college of Madhya Pradesh; that's why many parts of the building gets damaged, and many new building are being built. A new CSE building work is also in progress; there are two libraries and many smart classrooms with projectors

Faculty: The professors and teachers teaching in REC are qualified from good institutes, and the HODs are from many top NITs and IITs. The semester paper came from RGPV Bhopal, and the difficulty of the question paper is from medium to difficult.
Students have to study well to pass the semester exam .
Other: College Fest is held every year. The college is a little further away from the city; the surroundings are pleasant and quiet.

Absolutely satisfied with faculty members!
Placements: Usually, from the second year, internships start in REC. Internships have a positive impact on interviews. Civil and Mechanical students generally prepare for government jobs, so limited companies for these two branches in REC (Aditya Birla and JP Cement always come for civil).
In REC, Electronics and Communication students have achieved the highest packages of 16 LPA and 12 LPA. But it depends on the candidates and the most important thing is "SKILL MATTERS".
Infrastructure: All the respective departments have their well-managed labs and classes. The labs and workshops have magnificent machines. In comparison to colleges like Government College Sagar and other colleges like Nowgaon, etc., Rewa Engineering College has a collection of machines, 3D printers, and so on that private colleges could not afford.
Faculty: Well-educated and supportive teachers. Usually, in the first year, you will be living the golden days of your life with teachers like Maths HOD and first-year coordinator Uttam Sir, Satyaprakash Sir, Physics HOD Sandeep Sir, Manishi Sir, Rajneesh Chaturvedi Sir, Praveen Nagesh Sir, Iksha Mam, Vandana Mam, HOD Manoj Solanki Sir, Pooja Mam, and Ruchira Mam. They are the stars of REC, accompanied by DK Jain and RP Tiwari Sir.
There are 8 semesters in B.Tech/BE. The mid-tests are too easy for those who spend their time and attention in class and give 3-4 hours at home daily. The mid-test consists of a quiz of 10 marks and theory of 20 marks (mid-test paper by the college) and a 70 marks final exam conducted by RGPV.
Other: I got B.Tech in Civil Engineering, and the best thing about it was for those who wanted to spend their life in government jobs like Assistant Engineer, SDO, etc.
The college has various clubs like the design club, Abhiruchi club, sports club, and REC PEDIA. All of them conduct an annual fest every year named Aarambh (like Aarambh 2k20).
Scholarships are provided for those who score a percentile above 90 by the government or those who score 80 or above in the Madhya Pradesh board exam.
