Placements: Rewa Engineering College (REC) in Rewa, Madhya Pradesh, has a dedicated placement cell and career development centre that works to help students find placements. While the college has seen placements in companies like IndiaMART, Capgemini, Infosys, and TCS, the placement rate and salary packages vary by department and year. Some sources suggest an average package between 3.5 LPA and 4.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. A new building is being designed this year. Rewa Engineering College also started to provide M.Tech, for which a new building was constructed. They have 4 playgrounds for playing sports like football, cricket, volleyball, kho-kho, etc. They have good labs.

Faculty: The institute has a team of highly qualified, experienced, and dedicated faculty and committed supporting staff. Many of them are Ph.D. and M.Tech. Degree holders have published/contributed a large number of high-quality research papers in international and national journals and in conferences of repute.

Other: The college is too good, according to the fees. Don't expect anything beyond that. But the college is better.

Review of Rewa Engineering College.

Placements: Placements provided in our college are average. Few companies hire students in our college with a salary package of 3 LPA to 6 LPA. Students can try for off-campus placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our course is good. Girls' hostel is the best with a mess facility that serves food at a moderate price but the mess facility is not available in the boys' hostel. Students can prefer a private tiffin center outside the campus.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are the best. They teach very well. The course curriculum is according to Rajiv Gandhi Praudhyogiki Vishwavidyalaya Bhopal. Exams are conducted according to RGPV. Our college follows the RGPV scheme and syllabus.

Other: Our college consists of 5 to 6 clubs to organise events for different categories like REC Pedia, tech cell, sports club, placement cell, etc.

Review of Rewa Engineering College.

Placements: Placements have started from 2019 only. Companies like Prism and Johnson hired several students from civil engineering. Students have to do self-preparation with the help of teachers' guidance so that they can get a job.

Infrastructure: The hostel was average. Classrooms were in good condition, and the environment is also good for all. There are no activities like ragging, so our college gives you a positive environment to fulfill your dreams. There is a very beautiful library in which there are lots of books so that we can study.

Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified and are from the best institutes. In this college, there are several teachers for all the branches. Faculty members are also very helpful towards their students.

In our college, practical labs are poor, and they are not providing placements.

Placements: In our batch, there are 76 students, and no one got placement as they are not providing placements. Many top roles are offered in our course, like working in the industry and mechanical works.

Infrastructure: Our college facilities are average or low type, and the infrastructure is also poor. Our branch also has a very low type of infrastructure and facilities. Wi-Fi is available here, and it is of good quality. Our college does not have mess facilities, canteen and medical facilities. Sports and games facilities are lower.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, very good, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is very good. Our college course provides students with good training and many types of experience. Students are ready for industry.

Review of Rewa Engineering College.

Placements: The college does not provide placements, but it provides some placements in the civil branch. The civil branch is the best here. I had just seen on the college page that the company had visited the college for branches like electrical, mechanical and ECE and offered a salary package of 1.8 LPA. If you want, you will get a salary package that ranges between 4-5 LPA after studying well. If you want a good placement, then this college is not for you.

Infrastructure: The campus is quite large and spread over 250 acres. But the college building is in a small area. There is a lot of empty space and empty ground. Classrooms are normal here. PPT is definitely available in all classrooms, and some smart classrooms are also available. It provides a practical lab, but a situation is not right. The library is available with some books. E-library is also available. This year Wi-Fi facility has started on the campus. You will find a lot of clubs here. The most famous club is E-cell, Rec and Rewa. The college also provides sports facility at a nodal level and state level. The college provides 3 hostels here, one for boys and 2 for girls. The hostels are average. If you are capable, then you are outside with room. The food served in the hostel is only good, but not fine. There is a ragging problem in the hostel. At present, there is no canteen facility in the college.

Faculty: All teachers in our college are qualified. They are M.Tech and GATE qualified. Some faculty members are good, but some are not good. They do not complete the course before the exam. In the last you have to study by yourself. The syllabus is good, but teachers will not teach a lot of things by themselves.

Other: I have chosen this college because my rank was bad, and I couldn't find any other college. This was the best in what I was getting in government colleges. A fee of the college is also very low.

It is an average college, but it is the best college for students who want to grow independently.

Placements: Few companies, like Cognizant, Infosys, etc., visited our college for placements. Most of them are IT-based companies and 2 years back the college provided the computer science branch in our college. There is a trend in college that only 10% of students joined private companies, and 90% of students opt for civil service and GATE preparation. Our college has a good record of providing civil assistant every year. Some students do their internship sincerely from reputed companies like NTPC, BHEL, and other reputed companies. In the mechanical branch, I didn't hear anyone got placed. But in the civil branch, about 3-4 student got placed in Prism and Jaypee Cement with a salary package of 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: The college was built in the year 1964, so its infrastructure is not that much good. The college provides facilities like smart classrooms, good computer lab and smart labs. It provides two boys hostel, in which one is bad, and one is good. It provides 1 girl hostel which looks good from inside, but bad from outside. It provides two libraries, one for unreserved category and one for reserved category, but both are in poor condition. In the libraries, there are many books inside which are not managed properly. The college provides Wi-Fi facility which gives 20 Mb per day. There are few good classrooms, and the rest are in poor condition as fan, ceiling, wall, looks in bad condition, but chair and benches are in good condition. It does not provide a canteen facility, and I don't have any idea about mess quality because when I took admission, I didn't get the hostel facility due to ragging. The college provides a basketball court which is closed for many years. There is a huge playground to play football and cricket. There is a badminton court inside the college. It has good medical facilities, but the doctor is not available in our college. Doctor take money from our college and seat 1 km away from our college in his clinic, but he gives us a priority when we tell that we belong to Rewa college. The worst thing about our college is ragging, but it is decreasing, which is a good sign.

Faculty: There was a shortage of teacher before 2016, and most of the teachers were guest faculty at that time. After the year 2016, our college got many teachers from IIT and NIT colleges. They are highly knowledgeable. They have good teaching quality but did very less practical, which is not sufficient for the industry. They focus more on theoretical knowledge than a practical one. Ther is a poor mechanical lab, and many machines are not in working condition. In the minor project, we do maintenance of that machine, and on that behalf, our teacher gives us marks.

Other: I have chosen this college because it is one of the oldest government colleges in Madhya Pradesh. It has a very low fee structure. The best thing about our course is it gives me glimpses of everything that I wanted. I wish if the college provides funding to the students, so they can take part in many mechanical events like Baja SAE, etc., which helps students to take part in the subject more effectively. The campus crowd is average. Very few event and fests are organised at our college, but our student takes part in other colleges fests also. There is no connectivity issue as all the important thing are near to college area. Our college provides many scholarships to students like central sector scheme and Vikramaditya scholarship, which helps a poor student to pay their fees. Every year our college take part in the nodal competition.

I am satisfied with our faculty and our college is afflicted with rgpv Bhopal.

Placements: Our mechanical engineering branch has the highest placement in recent years of REC my college is a government college. After coming of computer Science engineering branch the placement opportunities increased for students. The highest package of REC is approximately 13 Lacs and average 4 Lacs.

Infrastructure: Our college has a very good infrastructure. It have many labs in all departments like design lab main lab rock mechanics lab basic mechanical lab, production lab, Physics lab cement lab, survey lab, basic electrical lab, Chemistry lab, basic mechanics lab and many more.

Faculty: Yes the teachers helpful qualified and knowledgeable. They are very supportive admirable and protective for students. They are very professional at their field. They teach us and clear our doubt anytime just we need to ask. They always motivate all students for study.

Other: I choose this course because mechanical engineering is a evergreen branch.

Good infrastructure and facilities and also placement for core branches.

Placements: The top recruiting company for our college is cement or civil engineering related companies. The top branch for placement in Rewa engineering college is mechanical engineering with 100%placement. The core branches have more placement. After coming the CS branch the placement opportunities has increased. The highest package of REC is 15 LPA. The lowest package of REC is 1.5 LPA. The average package of REC is 4.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The REC has many labs in their each department. College have more than 20 labs for experiments. Each lab is for different work. The college have 2 book Libraries. One is central library and other is a library for sc-st students. Our college has also a e- library. We have many clubs. In our college we have clubs for sports games music and different works. Our college has girls and boys hostel in which they have separate mess.

Faculty: The teachers of the college are very admirable they always try to give their best in teaching students. Their behaviour are very good. They are very supportive and protective for their students. They treat students like their child. Their teaching qualification are very best. They always motivate all students and help then in their work.

Other: I choose mechanical engineering because ME is a evergreen branch. This branch always provides placement and in rewa engineering college the top branch for placement is ME with 100% placement in previous years.
