Q:   What MHCET Law score is required for getting admission at Rizvi Law College for LLB? I have 90 marks in MHCET Law.
A: 

Rizvi Law College cutoff 2024 was released for All India and Home State quota candidates. For the General All India quota candidates, the cutoff score was 96.68 for LLB. Moreover, for the General Home State quota candidates, the cutoff score was closed at 94.49. Therefore, for candidates belonging to the General AI and General HS category candidates, it is not possible to get admisison at 90 score in MHCET Law.

Q:   What is the Centralised Admission Process for MHCET Law?
A: 

MHCET Law Centralised Admission Process (CAP) includes the following steps: 

  • Counselling registration by candidates
  • Document verification
  • Choice-locking
  • Seat allocation, and admission confirmation by candidates. 

The CET Cell Maharashtra releases MH CET Law merit lists after CAP process. The merit lists are released in different rounds for both 5-year LLB and 3-year LLB courses. 

Q:   What is the cutoff for admission at Rizvi Law College?
A: 

Rizvi Law College LLB admission is based on valid MHT CET Law entrance exam scores, followed by its counselling process. During the Rizvi Law College MHT CET Law cutoff 2024, the last-round cutoff score was 96.68 for the students belonging to the General AI quota. For the Home State quota, the closing cutoff of the same course stood at 94.49

Q:   Can I start a law practice without a Law degree or become a lawyer?
A: 

No, you cannot become a lawyer without a Law degree. You mandatorily need to obtain degrees such as BA/BCom/BSc/BBA LLB or LLB in order to be a lawyer in India. To become a lawyer, one must first complete three-year or five-year LLB from a recognised university and possess degree certificate. Then, they must enrol themselves in local Bar Council of the concerned state and enrolled as an advocate. Within two years of the enrolment, they must appear and clear AIBE in order to be eligible to practise anywhere in India. 

Q:   How can I get into Rizvi Law College for UG/PG courses? Am I eligible for admission?

Rizvi Law College has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

B.L.S. LL.B.Candidate must have completed 10+2 or equivalent with above mentioned marks in aggregate from any recognised Board/Council. Candidate who have obtained 10+2 Higher Secondary Pass certificate or First Degree Certificate after processing studies in Distance or Correspondence method is eligible. Candidate who have obtained 10+2 through Open University system directly without having any Basic Qualification are not eligible. Candidates who are appearing/appeared for the qualifying examination are also eligible to apply for the Entrance Examination. Such candidate will be eligible for admission only if they produce the provisional/Degree/ certificate of the qualifying examination and the mark lists of all parts/attempts the of qualifying examination at the time of admission. The mentioned marks of SC/ST and OBC is for the candidate belonging to maharashtra State.
