S.A. College of Arts and Science Participates in Chess Tournament
March 18, 2023: In the All India University South Zone Men Chess Competition at SRM University Katangkulathur, the University of Madras Men's Chess Team took third place and received Rs. 10,000 in cash and a trophy. I participated in this competition as the men's chess coach for the University of Madras. Also, from March 14 to March 16, 2023, I will serve as the University of Madras Men's Chess Team's chess coach at the All India University Inter Zone Men's Chess Tournament at AMET University, ECR, Chennai.
S.A. College of Arts and Science’s Management Organises Medical Campaign at Sudharsanam Hospital
March 18, 2023: The management of S.A College of Arts and Science conducted a medical campaign in honour of International Women's Day on March 8, 2023. From Sudharsanam Hospital, they administered CBC and RBC tests to female teaching, non-teaching, and housekeeping personnel, benefiting a total of 127 employees.

Placements: About 50-55% of students got placed in our course. The highest salary offered was Rs.19,000, and the lowest was Rs.12,000. Almost 75% of students got internships in our course. The top roles were Corporate Secretary, Corporate Social Responsibility, and Income Tax Officer.
Placements: In my batch, B.Sc. Computer Science students are very good at gaining knowledge and learning valuable things. I have been studying in this college for one year, and I notice that a good percentage of students get placed. In one department, up to 30 students are placed through campus placements.
Placements: College management is giving us many placement opportunities, so many companies contact our college to recruit for many different types of companies, like IT, marketing, banking, and sales. In the past year, the companies that recruited were TCS, Flow services, etc.
Placements: About 5 % are placed till now from the department. The highest salary package was 7 LPA and the lowest was 150000 CTC. Flowserve, tcs, ibm, sipcot, SBI are the top companies that were available fir campus placements. The college is in its budding stage while it comes to placements.
