S.A. College of Arts and Science Scholarships and Funding
i) SC/ST Scholarship as per government norms.
SC/ST Scholarship is offered only for the students
-Belonging to SC/ST Community
-The Annual income of their parents is below Rs.2,50,000.
ii) Merit Scholarship:
Merit Scholarship is offered for the students based on the below given slabs:
- Candidates having greater than 96% marks in 10+2 will be offered 25% of scholarship
- Candidates having marks between 91% and 95.9% marks in 10+2 will be offered 20% of scholarship
- Candidates having marks between 86% and 90.9% marks in 10+2 will be offered 10% of scholarship
The merit scholarship will be provided subject to a maximum of 2 students per programme only. It is based on First Come, First Basis only.
Continuation of Merit Scholarship for second and third years will be provided subject to the following conditions:
- Students must secure a minimum of 75% in all the subjects in their University examinations.
- A minimum of 75% attendance in each semester.
- There should not be any history of arrears
- There should be no disciplinary action against the Student.
The Scholarship stands cancelled automatically if ANY/ALL of the above conditions are not fulfilled and the student must pay the full College fee
