Reality check of the college education.

Placements: Students are eligible to sit in placements from the 3rd year, 2nd semester, and 4th semester. There are around 1000 to 1200 companies coming to the college to provide job offers. Almost everyone will get placed. So around 90% of students get placements. My plan is to get a job after my graduation. There are 5 categories of feelings that depend on your rank, ranging from INR 2 lacs to 5 lacs. The fee hike does not matter if you join. I am not sure about the scholarship. They provide a lot of options for internships and job opportunities. There are top-class companies. They provide many job roles. Then we have to give you a preference order for the branch you want. I got a B.A. course, and after that, they asked us to pay the fee to book a seat in the college and gave us some time. The eligibility requirement for the course is to be in 12th grade and get above 75% in all subjects. The application fee and date will be mailed to you after you enroll for the examination. I do not know about the reservation benefits. So, the only improvement I want to see is to give a cutoff after people who leave, as category 1 people leave college as bright students and go.

Infrastructure: Hostels are great compared to other classes. But the feelings are also high compared to other colleges. The menu has a wide range of options. Hostel processes are dependent on rank; it is a bit hectic. It is not that affordable. Another system is called Caltech, where there will be no backbenches in the classroom. Classrooms only have tables and chairs, so you can collaborate and mingle with others and actively participate in learning. The library is given huge importance at our college. It consists of a vast collection of books, both technical and nontechnical. The classroom consists of a projector and is termed a smart class but the projectors are barely used and Vellore being a very hot place, the classrooms do not have enough ventilation. There is free internet available. The canteen is really good. There are many clubs and chapters that are run by students. There are so many clubs, both technical and nontechnical, which is pretty amazing.

Faculty: The course curriculum is very good and faculty members are highly educated and have completed their higher education at foreign universities. There is no doubt about the qualifications of the faculty. There are a lot of facilities at the college. There are two midterm exams and one final exam for a course in a semester. We have the right to choose the faculty, timings and course that we want to take. My colleges faculty members are very supportive; all are professors who will get Ph.D. The faculty members that I have come across are really talented and know their way around both students and subjects. The practical knowledge that one gets is a very good thing about college. They are very good and supportive. The teaching is very good. They explain with real-life examples, which help in getting more knowledge and insights about the subjects. Teachers also make the tough topic simpler.

Other: There are two main fests conducted by the college. They are River and Gravitas. One of them is a cultural fest where many celebrities come and perform and the other is a technical fest. There are a lot of events going on throughout the year conducted by clubs. There are many competitions conducted as part of extracurricular activities.

A dream come true in this college.

Placements: All the eligibility details are available on the official website of our college. The admission process had a written ability test which was followed by two grounds of group interviews. We have our internship placements after our core terms is over, which is term 4. It happens around the time of july, which is almost a year after students have joined the campus. Final placements happen in early january. There are various scholarships based on merit and means available. The autumn internships and finals placements are also really good and have been 100% for a couple of years now. The application form and the process is available on the our college. I did not avail of any reservation process. The whole interview process was conducted online and was smooth end to end.

Infrastructure: The library is well-equipped and they treat students well. Sports facilities are not the best inside the campus, but one can access N number of facilities nearby. Social life depends on your personality and luck. The rooms are excellent, equipped with air windows. Microwave oven and refrigerators are available on each floor, common to the floor occupants. Food is vegetarian and cost 95 per meal. The total cost including everything is 6000 year which is cheap considering Jaipur. The library has a rich collection of books academics and otherwise. Classrooms are gallery type and well air conditioned. Various student led clubs and committees are available to choose from and would add value to the experience here. Hostels are very affordable here and worth the price. Cleanliness and hygiene are given utmost importance especially in these pandemic times.

Faculty: They are professional and experienced and teach very well. The professors are usually helpful and supportive. The online infrastructure and library is top notch. The majority of the teaching methods involved lectures without the use of books or any other source material, followed by presentations. Professors have extensive teaching experience and expertise. Our staffs is great. And our experienced professors have substantial expertise. The exams are held on schedule and you need to only concentrate well in classes in order to score well. Exams were not tough to pass. Faculty is world class with excellent exposure to the industry. A lot of teaching is done by people working in the industry with some of the top companies.

Other: Your stay on college will be a nice experience. The infrastructure is outstanding. Extracurricular events, club programmes and management fests are all interesting and beneficial. There are several clubs societies which offer events, fests, and games.
