Rajasthan College has balanced academics, average placements, and good facilities.
Placements: The placement opportunities for the Economics Honours course at Rajasthan College are limited and developing. Only a small percentage of students get placed, mostly in entry level roles with salaries ranging between 2.5 and 4 LPA. The college lacks strong corporate connections and dedicated placement training for this course, which affects the overall placement rate. Internships are also not widely facilitated through the placement cell, most students arrange them independently. The focus here is more on academics and higher studies than on immediate job placements. If you are aiming for competitive exams or post graduation, it serves better.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the Economics Honours course at Rajasthan College is basic but functional. Classrooms are spacious yet lack modern facilities like smart boards or advanced audiovisual tools. The library has a decent collection of economics books and journals, but needs more updated resources. Computer labs are limited and not highly relevant for this course. Hostel facilities are average. Rooms are shared with essential amenities, but maintenance and cleanliness could be improved. Wi-Fi is available but not very reliable, and common areas are minimal. Overall, the infrastructure supports academics but lacks modern upgrades.
Faculty: The faculty for the Economics Honours course at Rajasthan College is experienced and knowledgeable, but the teaching style is mostly traditional, with limited use of interactive or digital methods. The curriculum follows Rajasthan University guidelines and covers all fundamentals and advanced concepts in economics, but it needs update to match modern industry trends and practical applications. Exams are conducted in a structured manner, mostly theory-based, with a focus on memorization rather than analytical skills. Internal assessment and assignments are given, but practical exposure is minimal. Overall, the academic approach is solid but could benefit from modernization and industry integration.
Other: The Economics Honours course provides a strong theoretical foundation with supportive faculty and well structured exams. The curriculum lacks modern industry exposure and practical learning. Infrastructure supports academic needs but requires digital upgrades. Internal assessment helps track progress, yet analytical and research based learning opportunities remain limited for students.

University Rajasthan College is the biggest government college in Jaipur.
Placements: I have political science as my subject. A large number of forms are filled in this subject, in which admission is done on the basis of a cutoff, and a cutoff list is released. The list is released by the university. Many students achieve success in their field through this subject. 50% of students got admission in this subject.
Infrastructure: There is a library facility in my department. There is no Wi-Fi facility. The condition of classrooms is good. There is a mess facility in the hostel, and the food is prepared well in the mess. Sports activities are conducted. The hostel warden has a very good nature. The hostel food is not provided during holidays.
Faculty: Teachers are good at studies. Their teaching method is very good. The course helps students to become advanced in the field of education. 50% of students pass in this college. Semester exams are hard, and only a few students are able to pass them. Our college helps students to prepare for their field.
Other: I am interested in political science because it gives me information about policies and constitutions of our country and abroad, so I chose it. There are a few celebrations in college. Few students come to college. Classes are not held most of the time.

Education Very Important.
Placements: My 62% of students were placed in courses.
My highest-paying course was Society, and the lowest-paying course was History. The average course was Economics. My top-paying companies were Infosys, State Bank of India, LIC, HDFC Bank, Wipro, Deloitte, etc.
Infrastructure: My classroom was quite and had Wi-Fi good facilities. The science lab is so beautiful. The facilities in my hostel are pure food and canteen meals, and small medicine are available. & Sports are cricket, football, and basketball in the evening for each student.
Faculty: Teachers are very bad because they were not paying attention and talking worryingly about politics. Our teachers are so lazy. My college’s semester exams are very tough because the question papers are out of chapters, and each student needs 36% passing marks.
Other: There were very good functions in my college, and the students were of a very calm nature, but the students’ scholarships did not come on time. The late batch facilities in the University of Rajasthan college were very good, and the environment there was very good.

A complete student review of Rajasthan University.
Placements: Around 8-10% of B.A. students are placed, while most pursue higher studies or competitive exams. The highest package offered is around 4 LPA, the lowest is 2 LPA, and the average is 2.8 LPA. Top recruiters included Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Reliance Retail, and HDFC Bank. Nearly 15-20% of students got internships in NGOs, research organisations, local media houses, and educational institutes. Common roles offered are customer service associate, content writer, research assistant, sales executive, and education counsellor.
Infrastructure: College has very basic infrastructure for B.A. courses. Classrooms are large but often lack modern facilities like smart boards or full-time Wi-Fi. The library has good collection of books, but seating is sometimes crowded. Hostel facilities are limited, and not all B.A. students get accommodation. Rooms are simple. Mess food is average, and maintenance is slow. Sports facilities exist but are not very well maintained. Overall, infrastructure is functional but outdated and needs improvement.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable, but teaching style is mostly traditional, with less focus on practical or modern methods. Some teachers are very supportive, while others just complete the syllabus. B.A. curriculum is more oriented towards theory and exam preparation, not directly industry-ready. Semester exams are not very tough if you prepare from notes and past papers. Pass percentage is high, around 85-90%. However, there's less focus on skill development and internships.
Other: I chose B.A. because it provides a strong foundation in humanities and is helpful for competitive exams like UPSC, RPSC, and other government jobs. The best thing about the course is the vast syllabus, experienced teachers, and affordable fees. However, I wish there were more focus on practical exposure, internships, and skill development. Campus life is average. There are occasional events, but no large-scale fests. Crowd is diverse, and connectivity to the campus is good since it's located in the heart of Jaipur. The surroundings are safe. Scholarships are available for eligible students.

It is a good college with low fees and helpful teachers.
Placements: Around 60% of students from my batch got placed. Top companies like Wipro, Infosys, and TCS visited for campus placements. The highest package is 6 LPA, and the average package is 3.5 LPA. Many students also secured internships, mainly in the IT and management sectors. Top roles offered included software developer, business analyst, and content manager. The placement cell is active and supportive, though there is still room for improvement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at the University of Rajasthan is quite good. Classrooms are equipped with Wi-Fi, and the library has a wide collection of books for all subjects. Labs are well-maintained and updated with the required equipment. The hostel facilities are decent. The food quality is average, but hygiene is maintained. Medical services, sports areas, and the canteen are available on the campus. Overall, it provides a good academic and living environment for students.
Faculty: Faculty members at the University of Rajasthan are well-qualified and experienced. Teachers are helpful and explain concepts clearly. The course curriculum is designed to provide a strong academic foundation and is relevant to the subject. Some teachers even go beyond the syllabus to help students. Semester exams are moderately difficult, but with regular study, it is manageable. The pass percentage is generally high for those who attend classes and submit assignments on time.
Other: I chose this course because it aligned with my interests and future goals. The syllabus covers essential topics and offers a good foundation for competitive exams as well. The best part of this course is the supportive faculty members and affordable fee structure. I wish the course included more practical exposure and skill-building workshops. Events, fests, and seminars are organised regularly. There are plenty of extracurricular opportunities. Connectivity and campus environment are also good.

Good for studies, not for placements. Strong academic base and needs better infrastructure.
Placements: Placements for B.A. political science honours at Rajasthan College are almost negligible. College does not actively provide placement opportunities for this course, and very few companies, if any, visit the campus for recruitment. There is no reliable record of the highest, lowest, or average salary packages as placements rarely occur. Internships are also not formally arranged by the college. Most students manage them through personal efforts or external sources. The primary focus for students remains on higher studies or competitive exams like UPSC, SSC, or state services. Overall, the college offers academics but lacks structured placement support.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure for B.A. political science honours at Rajasthan College is basic and needs improvement. Classrooms are spacious but often lack maintenance and modern teaching tools like projectors or smart boards. There is no dedicated lab for this course, and Wi-Fi is unreliable across most areas. Library has a decent collection of books but limited digital resources. Hostel facilities are simple, with average rooms and basic furniture. Cleanliness and maintenance require attention. Mess food is planned with little variety, while the canteen offers only basic snacks. Medical care is minimal, and sports activities are limited to occasional events.
Faculty: Faculty members for B.A. political science honours at Rajasthan College are generally qualified and knowledgeable. Most teachers are helpful and approachable, though teaching methods are often traditional and lack interactive or research-based approaches. The curriculum follows the university guidelines and provides a good theoretical foundation but is not strongly aligned with industry requirements or skill-based learning. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty, focusing mainly on conceptual and theoretical understanding rather than practical application. The pass percentage is relatively high, as students who attend classes and prepare consistently usually manage to clear exams without extreme difficulty.
Other: I chose B.A. political science honours at Rajasthan College because it provides a strong foundation for higher studies and competitive exams like UPSC. The best part of the course is its theoretical depth and supportive faculty members. However, the teaching methods and lack of practical exposure could be improved. Campus life is decent, with a mixture of cultural and academic events, though large-scale fests are not very frequent. Crowd is diverse and generally friendly. Connectivity to the campus is good as it is centrally located. Scholarships are available as per government norms. Extracurricular activities happen occasionally but need more encouragement.
