Sahrdaya College of Engineering, Thrissur was established in 2002 under Irinjalakuda Diocesan Educational Trust. It is affiliated to Calicut University, Malappuram and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. It is recognised by Government of Kerala and accredited by The Institution of Engineers, India. The goal of  SCET is to train the youth to be the leaders of tomorrow with proper skills, deep-rooted sense of social responsibility, strong ethical values and with a global outlook to face the challenges of changing world. The mission of the institute is to promote academic excellence, absolute discipline, and sound practical exposure.

Q:   Which entrance exam is accepted by Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology (SCET)?
A: 

Candidates should pass Higher Secondary Examination, Kerala or Examinations recognised as equivalent thereto, with 45% marks in Mathematics separately and 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together. Candidates should also qualify the KEAM (to the particular year) conducted by “The Commissioner of Entrance Examination, Kerala”. Similarly for the application to M.Tech and Phd. Courses, one requires Qualification of B.Tech from recognised institutes and 10+2 at 45 percent marks.
