Campus has a natural beauty.

Placements: The eligibility criteria for campus placement can vary depending on the companies visiting for recruitment. Typically, students become eligible for campus placement in the final year. The salary package provided by the companies was around 3 to 10 lacs per annum. The college provides internships for students, like summer internship programs. And the college has an internship placement cell; these cells provide resources, guidance, and networking opportunities. The college also has industrial collaborations with various companies for example, AGAPPE, a leading diagnostics company.

Infrastructure: The course I took was M.Tech in Embedded Systems, and the duration was 2 years. The batch had 60 students and the teachers we had were around 15; I am not sure about the count of supporting staff. We had highly qualified faculty. There is a vast library for the students, a canteen, a hostel, and start-up support centers in the college. Clubs such as NSS, IEEE, IEDC, etc. are present at the college.

Faculty: In SCET, it follows the KTU syllabus; it's not a very student-friendly curriculum, even though everyone used to manage it. The faculty members are very supportive and the ratio of faculty to students is 1 faculty per 20 students. There are also special advisors with whom you can discuss your problems.

Other: The annual fest and tech fest are conducted periodically. If it's an annual fest this year in the coming year, tech fest is conducted. Speaking of libraries, SCET has one of the biggest libraries in Kerela. Sports days are also conducted annually, along with Art Day. There are many technical as well as nontechnical organizations like IEEE and NSS in the college.

It is one of the best engineering colleges in Thrissur.

Placements: Our college provides only a few placement opportunities for M.Tech students. A few companies visit our college to recruit B.Tech students. Many M.Tech students got jobs on their own. Our college does not help us to get placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college and hostel is top-notch and well-maintained by the management committee. All classrooms are spacious. We have a huge library with a good collection of books.

Faculty: We have well-experienced faculty members. They follow the KTU curriculum strictly. They conduct exams regularly. The course curriculum is good, but it is insufficient for a biotechnologist to get into a reputed industry. Semester exams are moderately difficult.

Other: Our college conducts only a few sports activities. There are only a few colleges that provide M.Tech biotechnology in Kerala. The research part should be given more weightage in biotechnology in this college.

Other: I have studied B-Tech as well as M-Tech in this college. As per my perceptive, it is like a management school. This college is average. You will get good academic but no technical skills. Also, the placement is very poor. Also, there is no point in extra-curricular activities (Arts & Sports). Students are not allowed to participate in inter-college programs in these categories. According to me, it is a money minded college.
