Bachelor of Ayurveda, Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) - Batch of 2028

Balanced academic experience with good Ayurvedic exposure and decent infrastructure.
Placements: Almost 90% of students get placements in college. The top recruiting companies for our college are Dabur, Himalaya, Baidyanath, etc. Almost all students get internships from my course. The role offered is junior residential doctor for freshers. The highest package offered is 12 LPA.
Infrastructure: Saraswati Ayurved Hospital and Medical College offers a range of facilities to the support both academic and personal development. The college campus is equipped with modern classrooms that are spacious, well-ventilated, and fitted with audio-visual aids to enhance learning.
Faculty: Faculty members at Saraswati Ayurved Hospital and Medical College are generally qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. Most teachers hold postgraduate degrees in their respective fields and bring both theoretical and practical expertise to the classroom. They are approachable and often assist students beyond classroom hours. The teaching quality is satisfactory, with a focus on both classical Ayurvedic concepts and modern interactive approaches. Practical sessions, case discussions, and clinical exposure further enhance the learning experience.
Other: I chose the B.A.M.S. course because of my deep interest in traditional Indian medicine and holistic healing. Ayurveda offers a unique approach to healthcare that combines natural remedies, preventive care, and personalized treatment. This course not only connects us to our cultural roots but also opens up diverse opportunities in clinical practice, research, teaching, and wellness industries.

A very positive environment in our campus.
Placements: My batch is the 2023 batch, in which there are 60 students. B.A.M.S. itself a complete course, you became a doctor. Internship is offered itself in our college; there is a hospital in our college. You yourself become a doctor after this course and can open your private clinic and pharmacy.
Infrastructure: Because I liked infrastructure, I chose this college. My college have a gym, a cricket ground, a basketball court, football ground, and HPL the hostel premier league takes place every year, It has canteen, cafe, juice corners, and stationery. In hostels, we have cameras in corridors, proper guards, and a gunman for security. Wi-Fi is also available. Mess food quality keeps going up and down.
Faculty: Teachers are the best part; they are so helpful at your level. The best part of this college I found is the teaching staff. They are well qualified and, of course, knowledgeable. Lots of labs, regular practical lectures take place overall, a perfect place. The pass percentage of my batch is pretty good.
Other: Ayurveda itself is a complete word to explain why I chose this course; it's growing day by day in India in herbal medicine and ayurvedic treatment. Regular fests take place, an annual fest of 3 days takes place, and regular festive celebrations take place.

It's okay to be in college to study your self chosen degree.
Placements: 100 seats were allotted last year when I came to this college. The highest package: 50-60k per month The lowest package: $20-30k per month First, we need to complete the 6-month internship program at the college itself. After then, some hospitals are offered to you. After completing this course, you are eligible to call yourself an authentic Ayurveda doctor. The main focus is to let everyone know about the importance of Ayurveda + modern allopathy too.
Infrastructure: Facilities given, such as neat and clean, well-organized labs, classrooms with AC, and a library, are very big and well managed by the attendant of the library itself. There is no wi-fi. The herbal garden is there in our college. Departments are there where you'll know how to make medicines. Teachers are very supportive. The hostel has so many restrictions, and the food quality is not so good, like for survival, you eat. Rooms are without AC, and if you want one, you have to pay extra for that. Plus point is no electricity bill is there. Outing closing time is 6 o'clock evening. Also, if you want to order something at night, you won't, because the gate is closed by 9:30 p.m.; otherwise, wardens are supportive. Canteen food is good; medical facilities are good also. Sports and games are like average. It depends on your interest. College as well as hostel conducts so many fiesta star nights, DJ nights, movie nights, and many more. So you never get bored.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and supportive, as well as qualified and knowledgeable too. Teachers did there MD in Ayurveda, then came to teach as professors. Teaching quality is good as teachers ask you next day what they taught you yesterday. Also solves our doubt without any issues. Course curriculum is relevant; yes, they teach you exactly from your given curriculum and also give you extra knowledge too. MSTs are a bit difficult, but if you studied well, then it's easy. No questions come out of the syllabus, as teachers are already aware that this question may come in exams. MSTs are on time as per the given university calendar.
Other: To be honest, I chose this course because my marks were not that high to pursue MBBS. Also, I want to become a doctor. Improvements such as mess food quality and fewer restrictions are needed. Here are so many events and festivals you can search on Instagram as well as YouTube by simply writing our college name to see those.

Best college for pursuing B.A.M.S. in Punjab in private college.
Placements: It is a private college, so they don't give stipends or give very little stipends to intern students. But internships are provided by our own hospital, which is a 50-bed multi-speciality hospital where all doctors are present and even panchakarma is practiced. B.A.M.S. students got internships at their own colleges.
Infrastructure: The hostels are in good condition. There is full Wi-Fi, and the food for B.A.M.S. is good. Classes are air-conditioned in smart classes. The library and labs are good, and there are 3–4 food outlets in the food or cafeteria. We also have three playgrounds and a gym for students. So overall, it is the best.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-experienced. Overall, the teaching quality is very good. Also, the curriculum is held every 15–20 days. Exams are tough, but studying at this college is far better than at any other state medical college for B.A.M.S. The passing percentage is 50–55%.
Other: The best thing about the course is the helpful and hard-working teachers and professors. I wish the management of this college would improve because of the expanding infrastructure. Events, festivals, connectivity, scholarships, and extracurricular activities are awesome.

The college provides exemplary Medical Education.
Placements: I got into the college through NEET. There are a total of 60 seats for each batch. 80000 is the fee structure for the government college’s seat and 100000 for the Management in General Category. After this course, you can pursue to study further or there are great vacancies at the Hospital and Ayurvedic Companies. 1 year Internship is totally available and included in this course, they have their own affiliated Hospital. It's a great place to be at for Ayurveda Practitioners.
Infrastructure: There is a remarkable setup with specialized departments for each subject. Laboratory experiences are outstanding, providing hands on learning opportunities. Hospital experience is commendable, providing real patient exposure. The college provides a great learning experience. I didn't stay at the hostel, but I am sure that it must be impressive too.
Faculty: Semester exams and final exams are conducted by the college. The teachers are very helpful, especially in clearing doubts. They all are very qualified in their respective streams, and they have commendable knowledge in their respective subjects. This course is very relevant, if you really inspired to become an Ayurvedic Practitioner. It definitely makes the students ready to work in the Hospital. Semester exams aren't difficult here, 50% are the passing marks.
Other: To be an Ayurvedic Practitioner, it a worthy place to go. I wanted to be a Doctor, so I chose Ayurveda as my main stream. Best thing about this course is that it has both ayurvedic & moren based study. A lot of ayurvedic events, competitions and seminars take place.

Come here at your own risk. It will empty your pocket.
Placements: B.A.M.S. offers opportunities mainly in the personal fields, like owning a clinic. Only some of the students are able to get jobs in government hospitals. You can own your clinic and live your life peacefully. There are no campus placements.
Infrastructure: The hostel facilities are good. The quality of food is okay, but it is pocket-friendly. The canteen is not good and needs to be improved. The college offers a working hospital and it has all the basic facilities. There is no facility for sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are not helpful. They just focus on completing the course as soon as possible. They are qualified and knowledgeable. The first-year syllabus is very huge and it puts a lot of pressure on students. Semester exams are very difficult and the passing percentage is 50%.
Other: I wanted to pursue MBBS but I was not getting sufficient marks in NEET, so I opted for this course. The best thing about this course is that it teaches us about ayurveda and the history behind it. The syllabus needs to be reduced. There is just so much pressure on us. Events and fests are very rare. They need to improve a lot in sports. They mainly want their students to focus on their studies, not on something else. The campus is small and the crowd is large, so it is congested. The campus is surrounded by farming fields. Scholarships are available, but I haven't pursued one. There are no extracurricular activities as far as I have seen.

This is a good college, and it provides good staff.
Placements: Around 100% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA. The average salary package offered is 4.8 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Himalaya, Patanjali, and private hospitals. Almost 100% of students get internships. The roles offered are B.A.M.S. doctor and jobs in the company.
Infrastructure: In this college, Wi-Fi, modern laboratories, flooring, fire extinguisher, laboratory for all subjects, examination hall, activity hall, dissection laboratory, well-sustained library, principal office, student own activity portal online, elevator, basement are available. It also has high-speed internet connectivity, and the food quality is average.
Faculty: Teachers are very well knowledgeable, there is no compromise with the level of the study. Semester examinations are taken at regular intervals. This course makes Ayurveda doctors, and semester exams are averagely difficult. The passing percentage is 50%.
Other: Our college is away from the city and has a peaceful environment.

I'm absolutely dissatisfied with the mess food and the studies, as there's no care for the future.
Placements: There are 60 students in my class. No package is offered because it's a professional degree, and no companies come for recruitment. All students settle independently after obtaining their degree. Nursing is very good in my college. As this is a private college, everything largely depends on money.
Infrastructure: The B.A.M.S. hostel is better than others. Labs, classrooms, and a library are provided. It's generally good, but I'm not satisfied with the hostel food in the mess.
Faculty: All are qualified. Mediocre exams are there in each semester, and we could clear them by studying. 60% of students pass. The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. However, some teachers who work as librarian or in accounting just think themselves the most superior, and I hate that.
Other: I want to become a doctor that's why I opted. Campus must be improvise. Practical classes should be improvise. At fest also below average people come on the name of fest.
