SCE - Shivalik College of Engineering has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: Courses Eligibility B.E. / B.Tech Candidate must have passed a diploma in Engineering / Technology with a minimum of 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category)from a recognized board/Institute. or Candidate must have B.Sc. degree with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) from a recognized University and Candidate must have studied mathematics at 10+2 level from a recognized board. or Candidate must have passed B.Sc. degree in students must have cleared the subjects of Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering program along with the second year subjects. or Candidates with B.Sc. stream will be considered only after filling the supernumerary seats in this category with students belonging to the Diploma stream. B.Pharma Candidate must have passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics / Biotechnology / Biology and obtained the above mentioned marks (40% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. After 10th Diploma Candidate passed 10th class/equivalent with atleast 35% marks from any recognized institute/board are eligible to apply. D.Pharma Candidate passed 12th/equivalent with Physics , Chemistry & Biology / Mathematics subjects from any recognized institute/board are eligible to apply.

All teachers here are very much supportive, interactive, and are highly qualified.

Placements: Placements are very good in this college. Most students are selected by top companies. There is an incubation center on the campus that will develop the research and development activities of the students. Students are given training from the second year for innovative projects. It is a very good place to learn.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is very good. There are 2 boys hostels and a girls hostel, and hostels are well-maintained. A Wi-Fi facility is available on the campus. A big cricket/football ground, basketball court, and all sports are available. There are 2 messes, and the quality of the food is good and tasty. College buses are available for almost all routes in Dehradun, so there will be no issues in travel.

Faculty: Most students find the semester exams manageable if they study regularly. Pass percentage is likely high. The general consensus is that the pass rate is above 80%. Attending lectures and actively engaging with the material can significantly improve exam performance.

Other: If you are a toppers (that's me), people don't trust you when you tell them that you study only for exams and not otherwise. If you come late, you are going to get the first seat. You, atleast once, have thought of opening a Xerox shop outside your college. You realise, fear can make you do anything, the meaning of being united during mass bunks, and your hidden talents. I discover my skills in writing poetry and other stuff. As a result, I claimed prizes in poetry writing, recitation, and the best speaker award from toastmaster's club.

The teachers are rude when any student needs their help.

Placements: Students get placed with a package of 1.5 LPA. Most of the students get placed in private companies as well as reputed companies. Honda and Hero companies also offered placements here. The teachers support students for studies, but I don't other staff at all, as they have bad behavior.

Infrastructure: You can take a maximum of 3 books from the library for 14 days. The behavior of library staff is bad, and they all just work for money. The canteen is expensive. Wi-Fi quality is bad.

Faculty: The teachers are qualified and are well-behaved. Some are irritating, and I don't like them at all. They all are knowledgeable and also have good experience, but some teachers are overconfident with their teaching, which can't even be understood by students.

Fully satisfied with the college.

Placements: It gives a number of placements from many sectors like Indian army, and many more highly rated companies visit the college. Some people were placed, and the highest salary package was 30 LPA and the lowest 8 LPA, Google and Ola companies visited the college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. I really like the infrastructure of the Shivalik College of Engineering. The classrooms are big, and the labs are fully equipped. The Wi-Fi facility is available.

Faculty: The faculty were good, and the teachers were very helpful. The teachers are knowledgeable, and the student-faculty ratio was good. The industry exposure and the course curriculum are good.

Other: Fests and events were organised and we can enjoy a lot.

A good college with bad location.

Placements: The placement and job opportunities are given to us. Many good companies like KPMG, Genpact, etc. visit here. Around 200-300 students were placed. The average package offered is 2-3 LPA. The highest package of 2017 is 8 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. The seniors are very friendly and give respect to juniors.

Infrastructure: The college has all required things, sufficient classrooms, a library having the required textbooks of different courses, a computer lab for students, conference hall, gym for hostlers. The college also provides certain health care facility, RO clean water. It is equipped with world class infrastructure and highly qualified and experienced faculty.

Faculty: The faculty of FLU are very experienced and have worked in the industry for very long. They understand the pattern and needs of the industry and guide students to get good placement. The faculty of the college is like family. The students can remember the course for a long time when they do assignments and practical on a regular basis, and the faculty follow the trend very strictly.

Other: It is a good college that provides deep knowledge to the students. The campus of this college is very big and provides 24 hour Wi-Fi connectivity. They give scholarship for the reserved candidates.

Excellent college for CSE and pharmacy students .

Placements: Overall 80-85 students have been placed and the remaining all goes gor their higher studies Top roles offered was junior engineer in the company Companies like infoysis, hitachi, tcs, delloite and etc. Company came to our college for campus drive Overall my Diploma journey was nice in this college .

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are all okay and in good condition And the quality was very fine means they take care of everything for their students The classrooms were highly advanced and the best things was our labs infrastructure was excellent with all instruments that? S help students in their journey .

Faculty: Yes teacher were very helpful and they work very hard for their students even after college hours They provide their hand written notes to their students The sem exam was difficult as you study hard then it will less difficult and the passing marks for Diploma in every subject was 15.

Other: I choose CSE as I was interested in computers and their network I love programming languages like python c+ Events like cultural activity in our college was conducted every semester some time fresher party and some time hackathon shivatech.

The facilities and the faculty are good.

Placements: Around 93% of students were placed in different companies. The highest package of around 25 lakhs per annum and the lowest is of 5-6 lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies are tata, ford, indigo, honda, tcs and many more. 100% of students get their internship from many companies which have MNCs also.

Infrastructure: The facilities and the faculty were both good, our college have Wi-Fi, labs for every courses, computer labs also which was collaboration with dell. The hostel facilities was also good and the mess make superb food and the sports were played by other colleges too.

Faculty: Faculty are very good and help in every difficulty. And the course curriculum is also good. The teachers help in assignments and studies by taking some extra classes.
