{Source: B.Des students & alumni}Placement Cell for B.Des at UPES School of DesignBased on the feedback from students and alumni, here's an overview of how the placement cell assists students in getting placed:* Student-driven initiative: Since the placement cell isn't very active, students often take the initiative to reach out to teachers and the dean for assistance with placements.* Good company connections: Although the college doesn't have a strong placement record initially, companies from major cities like Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Mumbai visit the campus for recruitments, resulting in good placements.* Faculty guidance: Faculty members are helpful and knowledgeable, providing guidance to students on preparing for internships and jobs, and helping them find opportunities through their networks.Overall, while the placement cell may not be extremely proactive, students and alumni agree that individual efforts and faculty support play crucial roles in securing internships and jobs after completing the B.Des programme at UPES School of Design.
