Review of SDM College of Ayurveda and Hospital, Hassan.
Placements: Our college provides excellent placement opportunities due to its association with a hospital where a large number of patients are treated every day. The college hires its students as faculty members, and students are provided with a one-year rotating internship after completing their four-and-a-half-year undergraduate program. SDM prepares its students to thrive in any environment. Many students have achieved success on a global scale.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good facilities. Around 100 students can be accommodated in each classroom. Classrooms are equipped with fans, lighting, projectors, and black and whiteboards. There is a library on campus. It has physical, digital books, and journals. It has over 10,000 books. The food served in the mess is good. They serve vegetarian food items. The institution places great importance on extracurricular activities. They have succeeded at local, district, national, and international levels. The campus has a canteen that offers Ayurvedic snacks and meals.
Faculty: The new syllabus has been introduced by NCISM. It is designed to be more student-friendly. The syllabus consists of 60-70% Ayurvedic content and 30-40% modern material. The highly knowledgeable professors are dedicated to helping students achieve their best. Under the new syllabus, university exams will be held every 1.5 years. The term tests will be held every 6 months. They are approachable. They offer many opportunities for students to get involved in promoting the importance of Ayurveda.
Other: It would be great if more people understood the benefits of Ayurveda and incorporated it into their daily lives. One of the best things about Ayurveda is that it allows us to learn about our traditional medicine, therapies, and lifestyle. SDM is particularly successful in promoting Ayurveda to society, with 100 undergraduates and 90-95 specialists graduating every year, taking a wealth of knowledge and memories. Many events are held in our college. Our college is surrounded by greenery. It creates positive atmosphere. SDM students and teachers excel in sports, dance, yoga, and other activities, as the institute places great importance on a well-rounded education. Dr. Prasanna N Rao, the Professor Emeritus, has been the driving force behind the institute's and hospital's success for the past 30 years.

Our college is the best to study Ayurveda.
Placements: Everyone gets internships in final year.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is the best. There is a vast library. Hostel is very good with a student-friendly atmosphere. Hostel provides a very good menu and food with a healthy diet but only vegetarian. Sports are encouraged regularly.
Faculty: Teachers are good at teaching but a little strict on restrictions. Facilities are very friendly. Students get the best practical knowledge as there is more patient exposure because of the good patient inflow.
Other: The lowest fee is 3 lakhs and the highest fee is 7 lakhs for management courses.

Best infrastructure and campus.
Placements: About placements: being a healthcare professional, people value you based on experience. As a fresher in Ayurveda, you need a lot of patience and perseverance for a placement. College does play a big role in getting an offer. Here in SDM, you get a lot of hands-on training in different aspects, which will help you get a job.
Infrastructure: Classrooms and other infrastructure are of top-notch quality. A very beautiful college with spacious classrooms and a very vast library is there. A digital library facility is also available. Modern equipment is used to teach students. Smart-class facilities are there. Anatomy is something special to learn about the anatomy of a human body precisely. Hostel facilities are not so good but they are worth the fees.
Faculty: A very skilled set of highly educated faculty is found in SDM. All are friendly, knowledgeable and even updated with the changing course of practice. They are available 24 hours a day to help with the subjects. Each department has a number of lecturers to help students. A mentor is provided to each individual for better assessment of students and their activities .
Other: Ayurveda is getting accepted by people worldwide nowadays and has scope in the future, but patience is the key.
Entertainment as such is a dream in SDM. Once in SDM, you can survive any hurdles .
