The college provides excellent facilities for students’ overall growth and development.

Placements: All the seats are completely filled in my course. The medium package is 12 LPA offered in my BCA course. Wipro, TCS, Google, Amazon, Infosys, IBM, and other top companies recruit from our college. SGI hosts an annual mega job fair attracting over 100 companies to the campus. Approximately 95% of students get an internship.

Infrastructure: Our college provides separate centrally air-cooled residential facilities for both boys and girls. The hostel includes a common room with a TV. The mess is hygienic, and the food is very tasty with lots of variety. Safety is a priority, with 24/7 wardens acting as local guardians for the residents. Without permission, no one can enter the premises. In short, SGI provides a safe and secure environment.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, with UGC NET or PhD qualifications. A mixed language of English and Hindi is used for instruction so that students can understand complex topics easily. My semester exams are not very difficult due to better preparation before the exams.

Other: Campus life is active. It has various student-led clubs. It includes Robotics, Cyber Forensics, and Soft Skills development groups. Students have regular opportunities to participate in events like Tambola, Ludo competitions, chess, and sports meets. It helps build teamwork.

Absolutely satisfied because of the internship and placement.

Placements: All the seats are full in my course. The highest package offered in my college is 15 LPA. The top recruiting companies for my course are Wipro, Amazon, Infosys, etc. Almost all students get internships from BCA, which is why my college is also known as a placement-wale college. The top roles offered are in software development, data analytics, cybersecurity, and cloud architecture.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is well maintained and modern. Campus has classrooms with proper lighting and ventilation. Smart classrooms, well equipped laboratories, a seminar hall, and a big library are available. A variety of books and journals are in the library. Food in the hostel is acceptable. A large variety of food is offered. College also provides medical facilities.

Faculty: The BCA curriculum is relevant and helps make students industry-ready. However, it depends on factors like syllabus, practical exposure, and how proactively students engage with the course. Teachers are fully helpful and qualified. They clear all doubts politely and give lectures through PPT presentations.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the software and IT sector. Basics of networking, databases, and a strong foundation in programming and computing logic are all useful in real life. My campus is fully Wi-Fi enabled. SGI acts as a nodal centre for various technical training programs. Students are encouraged to take up a 4 to 6-week summer internship after the second year.

Placements: Now I am pursuing a BCA course is part of the 2024 batch. It is a 3-year undergraduate degree program focused on computer science and software development. I completed advanced courses in various platform like Infosysis, Microsoft, Amazon, and IBM to prepare for the job.

Infrastructure: There are large number of computer labs with high-speed computers with the latest hardware and software. There are smart classrooms with projectors or interactive whiteboards. Facilities for working on mini and major projects. Collaboration with industry partners for real world project experience.

Faculty: Most BCA faculty members hold at least a Ph.D. in computer applications, M.Sc. in computer science, or M.Tech in IT. Students gain a solid base in programming and problem-solving. Pursue internships and project work during the course. Most students find BCA semester exams to be moderately difficult if they regularly attend classes, complete assignments, and study consistently.

Other: BCA provides a solid base in computer programming, databases, and software development which is ideal for those interested in tech careers. The IT industry is growing rapidly, and there's a high demand for software development and cybersecurity experts. After BCA, you can specialize in fields like data science, AI & machine learning, cybersecurity, cloud computing, etc.
