At SJMSOM, a few scholarships are available. About 20% of students receive one of the many scholarships offered by various endowment funds based on their achievement on the semester exams. Additionally, IIT-B offers a few additional scholarships that are available centrally. Additionally, candidates who are SC or ST are not required to pay tuition.

The two-year SJMSOM MBA course is organised into eight terms. In the first year (first four terms), students acquire knowledge on all the disciplines of management through 23 rigorous courses. All the academic courses require case studies, course projects and research by students, which provide exposure to the latest practices in the industry. Students get an option of doing a one-month winter project at the end of first two terms. The curriculum also includes a summer project at the end of the first year of the programme. 

Yes, SJMSOM offers a BTech and MBA integrated courses named as Inter-Disciplinary Dual Degree Program (IDDDP) in Management is an MBA with specialisation offered to fourth year BTech/ BS/ Dual Degree to students of IIT Bombay. Candidates who are at the end of their sixth semester with the approval of DUGC can apply for the IDDDP programme at SJMSOM. They need to secure 7.0 CGPA in the sixth semester to get admission.

After the conclusion of the application procedure, candidates are shortlisted based on scores in GATE/ UGC-NET (Lectureship)/ UGC-JRF/ CSIR-NET/ CAT/ GMAT/ GRE. Based on the cutoff marks, candidates with a score equal to or higher than the cutoff are selected. The eligible candidates without a valid score have to appear for an entrance test (which is an Aptitude Test covering four sections – English Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, Analytical Reasoning and Data Interpretation). Shortlisted students further have to appear for an interview. 

SJSOM IIT Bombay is a management school and does not offer any undergraduate engineering programs. However, IIT Bombay offers B.Tech courses in various streams such as Computer Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, Aerospace Engineering, and others. The eligibility criteria for admission to the B.Tech program at IIT Bombay require candidates to have passed 10+2 with a JEE score within the cut-off ranges of the institute. The applicant should be of a minimum of 17 years and should have passed in PCM with at least 75% marks (65% for SC/ST). Meeting the minimum cutoff for B.Tech alone may not guarantee admission to IIT Bombay. The admission process for the B.Tech program at IIT Bombay is highly competitive, and the final admissions are based on various factors such as JEE score, academic performance, and personal interview.
