Yes, candidates applying for admission in SBSR Sharda University PhD should clear the NET exam as admissions in the programme are on the basis of merit secured in the NET exam and subsequent rounds of interview. The NET exam takes place two times in a year in June and December. Candidates who have secured PhD eligibility in the NET exam are eligible to apply for the programme at the university.

Candidates seeking admission to the Sharda School of Basic Sciences and Recearch BSc course must appear for the Sharda University Admission Test (SUAT) followed by the Personal Interview. SBSR Sharda University BSc course comprises of core theory along with the laboratory course as well as one ability enhancement elective and compulsory (AECC) such as Computer Science and basic/ Intermediate English respectively.
