If you are really talented or want to learn something then it will be the best college.
Placements: In our college, many companies are coming like Unicourt, Sasken, etc.
The minimum package is 2 to 4 lacs, and the highest package is 10 to 12 lacs and more.
If you are good at full stack or you know full stack, then it's an easy placement here. Must need knowledge of C and Java, databases, etc. also.
Infrastructure: Good, well-qualified faculty members and the best classrooms are there. The canteen is well maintained and hygienic.
We can have a variety of options at lower costs.
Morning breakfast, afternoon lunch, evening snacks and night dinner are provided to hostel students. Really student-friendly campus is there.
Faculty: Faculty members are well qualified and always available to clear your doubts. Every month there will be some events and curricular activities. Which makes students engage with new things and their skills. Every event is held in college and other colleges are informed to students in WhatsApp groups.
Other: I chose computer science and engineering because in our college, the best labs are available and have good Wi-Fi.

College has good infrastructure, but is dissatisfied because of campus selection.
Placements: There are no placements in my course and no companies come for my course. There are no good internships. It's hard to get scholarships. College schedule is not working toward that. Very few people join internships and there are no placements after graduation.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are spacious and well-ventilated with good seating. Well-maintained laboratories for students to gain practical skills and conduct experiments. Safe hostel with proper security. Library with rich collection of books, e-books, and other audio-visual material.
Faculty: Teaching is excellent and most classes are running regularly. There is not much doubt in the teachers' teaching. Professors are giving us study material, so we are studying with our free minds. Course curriculum is very good and term system is somewhat tough, but the semester is easy.

Our college provides good quality education.
Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed in our college. Top recruiting companies are Infosys, TCS, etc. The highest salary package offered is 18 LPA by some start-up companies. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.2 LPA by Tech Mahindra.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The Wi-Fi speed is very good. Labs are very good and have all equipment. Our classrooms are clean and have projectors. Our college has a huge library.
Faculty: All teachers and non-teaching staff members are highly knowledgeable and very friendly. They always support us. Our course curriculum is not updated.
Other: I opted for this course because it provides jobs in software and hardware companies. Our college should improve its course curriculum. Our college conducts events and fests and provides opportunities to develop our leadership skills.

Decent college in Udupi, good for academics, no support for extracurricular activities.
Placements: Around 80% of the students were placed, average CTC was around 3.5 LPA. Companies like TCS, infosys, Sasken recruited from SMVITM. Most of the roles assigned were course related. Mostly CSE and ECE students got placed in the companies, but mechanical and civil engineers didnt have placement support.
Infrastructure: Great classrooms and infrastructure, but cafeteria is bad. There is no good ground facility for sports. Thr principals house is constructed in the middle of a decent ground. Hostel rooms are below average, no proper food in mess. Cafeteria food will surely give you health issues.
Faculty: The lecturers are the best, they have very good understanding of the subject and they help you a lot. Exams are conducted regularly to help students strengthen their knowledge before the final sem exams. Faculty members provide extra help for all the backlog students too. The principal does'nt support for extracurricular activities.

I recommend students to join this college.
Placements: Around 60% of students get placed in our college. The highest salary package offered is 5 LPA and the lowest salary package is 3.3 LPA. Top recruiter was SAP in 2016. Internships are provided by the college since 2018 but are not paid. Students can do internships outside the college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is accessible only when you are logged in. Classrooms are average. Each classroom has a capacity of 60 students. Sports and annual athletes are organised in our college. The canteen is not good. It serves purely vegetarian food items that are costly compared to other colleges.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are average at teaching. Our college is affiliated with VTU so the course curriculum is not good as it includes old subjects which are not related to the real world.
Other: I chose this course because I selected CS. Fests are not organised in our college.

It's a good place to build a proper career without having a desire to enjoy college life completely.
Placements: Around 35%-40% of students get placed from here. The highest salary package offered was around 7.2 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was around 3 LPA. Around 90% of students got internships in various companies such as Robosoft, Ashman, etc., in different fields such as data science, web development, etc. Top companies which visit here include TCS, Infosys, IBM, etc.
Infrastructure: The labs of our college are equipped with the necessary computers. The campus is vast, with a limited number of trees and high temperature. The food served in the hostel is bad, but the hostel rooms are not very small. The food served in the canteen is average and inconsistent. However, sports and other facilities are good. But there are no medical facilities at all.
Faculty: Teachers here are qualified enough for the courses. Their teaching quality is average. The course curriculum is definitely relevant because, throughout the 8 semesters, students will be trained and taught the different types of software and technologies involved in the IT industry. Students are also made to do certain projects which help them in gaining hands-on experience and make them industry-ready. It involves learning subjects which are quite required for the IT industry.
Other: I chose CSE because that course involved the thorough learning and necessary preparation of computer science technology which is very important for the IT industry. I think our college should make students build more projects and participate more in hackathons to gain experience and exposure. Events are organised, and annual fests and competitions are also organised. Scholarships are available to the category students. The campus lacks trees, and there is high heat and humidity in the surroundings. The campus crowd is average. Bus services are available from the main city Udupi, and the college is located on a highway.
