Placements: 45% of students got placed in this course. The highest package in my course was 8 LPA, and the lowest package was 5 Lacs. Top recruiting companies were Larsen & Toubro (L&T), Tata Projects, Reliance Infrastructure, and Hindustan Construction Company (HCC). Almost 55% of students got internships at these companies. Top roles offered in designing, constructing, and maintaining the infrastructure that supports our daily lives.
Infrastructure: The area of college was approximately 15 acres, and this area was well organised. Infrastructure was developed and covered with Wi-Fi lanes. Classrooms were covered with smart screens. Library was also covered with Wi-Fi. Hostel provided gym, library, and good food facility. The campus also provided medical facilities and organised sports meet.
Faculty: Teachers were supportive and qualified. The teaching quality was also good. The course curriculum was also relevant, and made the students ready to work in companies and industries. Semester exams were easy to pass, and the pass percentage was 40% in each subject.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to gain proficiency in CAD software, structural analysis, geotechnical engineering, and understanding of construction methods. The best thing about this course was that it encouraged you to explore the unexplored things. Campus organised fests and extracurricular activities. Campus also provided scholarships based on students' marks.
