Q:   Which courses can I do after a D.Ed.? Should I do a BSc or B.Ed?
A:

The best choice depends on your career aspirations:

·       If you want to become a teacher: Opt for a B.Ed. It's the mandatory qualification for teaching in most schools.

·       If you want to pursue a career in research or a science-related field: A BSc would be more suitable. It provides a strong foundation for further studies and specialised careers.

·       If you're unsure: Consider your interests and skills. Do you enjoy teaching and interacting with students? Or are you more drawn to scientific exploration and research?

Additional options:

·       M.Ed.: If you already have a B.Ed., you can pursue a Master of Education for career advancement or specialisation in a particular teaching area.

·       Diploma courses: Various specialised Diploma courses in education or related fields can enhance your skills and knowledge.

Q:   What is the Scope of Humanities and Social Science courses?
A:

Humanities as a stream provides a wide range of courses that can be studied after completing their 12th grade. Pursuing any of these degrees prepares you to understand the various levels of humanities and, as a result, carve out an appropriate job path. Candidates in the humanities can apply for positions in the government sector, such as banking firms, government ministries, legal firms, and political analysts.

Content Writer, Civil Services, Human Resource Manager, Defense Services, Lawyer, Journalist, Counsellor, and Therapist positions are available. As freshers, humanities graduates can expect to earn between INR 2-6 LPA.

Q:   What are the Zoology career options for postgraduates?
A:

Zoology offers immense scope to a candidate who has done a master's degree in the Zoology subject. No one can understand animals and their behavioural patterns like Zoologists do. So they have lots of options in terms of career. They can work as Animal Behaviorists, Conservationists, Wildlife biologists, Zoo curators, Wildlife educators, Zoology Faculty, Forensic Experts, Lab Technicians, and Veterinarians.

Review of Shyamsundar College.
Placements: There are a few chances of placements than in engineering. So, the placements are very rare in our college. If it is improved by the college authority or university, it would be good for students.
Infrastructure: The hostel was good, and I know it as my friends stayed there. I was a day scholar. The course which I pursued was good, but there were no sufficient classes. Only science practical classes were conducted regularly, and the theoretical classes were very rare.
Faculty: Some faculty members were very good to us, but some didn't care about us.

Really satisfied for the experienced and learned faculty members.
Placements: Nothing such like placement. Its a non technical, so there is no campussing. Or things such like that. What else to talk on this topic understand. It isn't relevant at all.
Infrastructure: Labs ar well maintained, there are some new set ups, so overall facilities are excellent. Sports facilities are also good, there are 2 playground in aggregate, out of them one is really huge. There are many NCC cadets and sports persons to cater the well hood of the sports facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, they always the students for better goals. Teaching quality is of excellent level. There are many professors who been teaching in this college for years, and that's the best of this college. The curriculum is relevant. Semesters are not that much difficult because of the guidance of the faculty members.

Our college is great in all aspects.
Placements: Our college is great. Almost 80% of students are placed with great packages. The top recruiting companies are Dabur and Amul. The average salary package offered ranges between 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 31 LPA. After passing the fifth-semester students can attend job interviews.
Infrastructure: In this college, the hostel facilities are good. A Wi-Fi facility is also available. All types of books are available in our college library. The food served in the canteen is good. Many types of food are available in our canteen.
Faculty: In this college, teachers are caring and they behave like friends. They are highly educated and they teach students very pleasantly. Our semester examinations are tough. But teachers help students to pass those examinations.
Other: I opted for this course, because I love science. After passing the secondary examination, I chose science education for study.

I am satisfied with the college library, but I am much disappointed with teachers and placements.
Placements: Placements are not given in any course of the college. The thing which is good here is politics are less than other institutions, and the fee for the semester is less than other colleges in Bardhaman. None of the companies recruits any students from courses of this college.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available on our college campus but not for the use of students. The hostel is not available as of now. There is a college library, which is good, and many collections of good books are available. Students have to come daily from their home, but the bus stand is nearby, so there is no problem.
Faculty: Teachers in mathematics are knowledgeable, and a few teachers are helpful. Teachers are not much friendly. Some of them are very cruel with students and don't give proper internal marks, and they also demotivate students. I suggest not to choose this college if you want to go for higher studies.
Other: The annual fest is conducted every year with some cultural events and stalls.
