I am really satisfied with our college.
Placements: About 85% of the students from our college get jobs in campus interviews. The salary package of 12 LPA was offered by Jaro Education, while 10 LPA was offered by Byju's. The average salary package offered is 5 LPA. Almost 70% of the students get internships from our course. Roles offered in our course are marketing manager and software developer.
Infrastructure: Our college doesn't have any hostel, but there are many PGs and messes near our college. Our college has state of the art labs, Wi-Fi on every corridor and a well-managed library. The quality of food served in our college canteen is very good and healthy. Medical facilities of our college are very good.
Faculty: The teachers of our college are very good. They not only teach us very nicely but also show a very friendly attitude towards students. They are always ready to help us in our studies. The course curriculum is relevant, and it really makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are tough and also easy, and almost every student passes the semester exams.

This course was very helpful.
Placements: Most of the students had applied for off-campusing because the companies which had come for recruitment offered non-technical jobs. Since we were in the 4th batch to graduate, the number of companies that had come for placements were very less. I don't have much information about the salary packages offered to the students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college was great. Hostel facilities were up to the mark but were provided only for boys. Women's hostel was not far from the college but was not owned by the institute. The quality of the food served was a real concern there. There is a proper infirmary inside the college. The library is stacked with books and has a very pleasant ambience.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful, understanding and knowledgeable. They are very approachable and never show favouritism. The course curriculum was not relevant, considering the business scenario. The courses were similar to what the other colleges in west Bengal follow. However, they do not give an industry inclined view.
Other: The course should be more focused on industry requirements.

A college with good academic standards, awesome faculty, and good placements.
Placements: A good number of students got placed. The highest salary package offered was 9 LPA. Companies like Amazon, Infosys, Mindtree, IBM, Accenture, Yodlee, Hcl, Genpact, Data 64, Byjus, Robert BOSCH, Reliance Jio Infocom, and Cognigent Technology, etc., visited our college for placements.
Infrastructure: Surendra Institute of Engineering and Management is located in Dhukuria, Siliguri which is situated at the foothills of the Himalayas. The campus is good with all the facilities like classrooms, seminar hall, lecture hall, library, workshop, laboratories, sports, games, and canteen etc.
Faculty: Faculty members of SIEM are awesome. They are professional, friendly and very co-operative. Technical and innovative thinking abilities of the students are nurtured pretty well. IIPC plays an important role in conducting industrial expert talks. They also conduct projects for the students to enhance their engineering skills.
Other: Alacrity is the college fest in which students of many colleges takes part. Famous celebrities are also invited to the events of our college.

If you want a job or the highest level knowledge, don't go to this college.
Placements: Don't expect any placement or placement related support from this college. TPO cell is useless. Rather than some local call centres or small IT companies, you won't find anything over here. Sometimes, they conduct pool campusing, and they have the reputation of bringing fake companies.
Infrastructure: As far as the infrastructure is concerned, I would rate it 8/10. Labs, classrooms, library, ground, hostel, canteen are good. You will get almost all facilities over here. Since the college is 9 years old, equipment, labs, classrooms have all kinds of modern facilities. The hostel was very good when we were in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. Don't expect industry exposure from college side. You need to arrange it by yourself. The student-teacher ratio is fair. Departmental and non-departmental teachers are good in behaviour as well. They have in-depth knowledge of the subject.
Other: Technical fest Dernier Cri and social fest Alacrity are the two main fests of this college.

Good campus in the foot hill of Darjeeling.
Placements: Placements in the college are average for other departments but are good for computer and electronic department. Companies like BluePipes, Data64, TCS are visiting the campus and offering not excellent placements but it’s good for the deserving students. It also conducts the off campus interviews.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. It has well maintained high speed Wi-Fi facilities available in the library. Labs are well equipped. It has a huge number of books available in the library and the medical facilities are only available during campus time. There is a common room for games and sports.
Faculty: Faculty members are highly experienced helpful, friendly and are from IITs and NITs background. It uses the modern teaching approach and an industrial interaction cell is there which is responsible for the placement and industrial training of the students. The college is affiliated to west Bengal University of Technology.

Other: College stands at an acceptable position in the state, but good in the location of North Bengal, since only 2-3 Engineering Colleges present here. There are issue related to placement but college is trying hard to change its standard in placement. Education provided is good. Faculty Members are good. But there is less area to explore, since the location does not provide much facility.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty members and infrastructure.
Placements: More than 60% of students got placed. The lowest package offered is 2.5 LPA, and the highest package is 10 LPA. Infosys, Thank Zone, Explorer, NIIT Technologies, Mphasis, LG, Jio, BYJU's, Axis Bank, IBM, HCL, Polycab, Wipro, Real On, Bosch, Amazon, Cognizant, Sobha, Xerox, Yodlee, Accenture, Shriram, Milople, Aashi India Glass Ltd., Hexaware and Cetest came here.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, digital labs, good classrooms, and a digital library are available. The hostel quality is good. Food is pretty good. Medical facilities are good. Faculty members are very helpful. Some outdoor games like football, cricket, etc., are available. It is a good college in a good place.
Faculty: Most of the teachers are very good. They always support students for their future, and they always motivate and guide us. I love all the faculty members in our college. This course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready.
Other: I love working on computers, so I chose it. The college conducts many events for students to enjoy.
