Good infrastructure and environment for study of the technical department.

Placements: Placement for the B.Tech department is very good up to 15-18 LPA yearly. But for management, it's very less, especially for the HR and finance major students. Only technical department-related students will get a good scope to enhance their career growth and knowledge.

Infrastructure: The classroom facilities are very good, even the environment, and the teachers are very supportive and helpful. The department organized intra-curriculum activities for engagement of the students, such as brandemonium, management day plan, and business executive plan.

Faculty: Semester final exams are not so strict, but the environment is good. Everything is related to the course topic and subject. Before each final semester exam, CA exams were taken by the respective department faculty members 4 times. 10% of each exam was added to the final semester exam.

Other: Fests were organized during the month of May or June .

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty, good placement in 2015, really the best infrastructure.

Placements: The placement of our batch was not that good though few people manage to get some placement through consultancy. The same was the situation with our senior batch. 27% percent of the students were placed. The highest salary package offered by lava internationals 4.8 lacks. The lowest salary offered by Siliguri Greater Lion's Eye Hospital 1.45 lacks. Avg. Salary offered by 2 lacks. These are the companies which paid visit to our campus :-Airtel, Orange, Lava, Wipro, TCS, KPMG. Mostly sales and marketing profile were offered to the students apart from customer service BPO and research profiles. 100 % of students got internship from college. Yes few do have a places cell. We often referred it as TPO. It is quite efficient in arranging internships for the students but it was useless for arranging placements.

Infrastructure: SIT have the world class infrastructure or in other words we can say that it has the best infrastructure in the whole North Bengal region. The Wi-Fi service is best of its class. Labs, Classrooms, Library is fully air conditioned. They have great medical facilities. Sports and games are always on the higher side. The quality of food is awesome. They have three different canteen. Hostel rooms are clean and very safe. I never face any infrastructure related issues during my college days.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are qualified but neither helpful nor knowledgeable. You have to take private tuition from them if you want to learn something from them. Though lucky we found we good teachers whom even taught us during their free periods. The teaching quality is average. They use PPT to show different slides on the topics. They also provide case studies so that students can put some new ideas. The students to faculty ratio is 1:8. No during my tenure we never get any industry exposure expect one tour to Samrat Feed Mills at Fullbari. The course curriculum was very average. If they lower their fees or if they improve their teaching standards then it will definitely become a great institution.

Other: We do have a lot of events. The best even we have is the yearly fest which consists of B Town Celebrity like Benny Dayal, Gajender Verma, zubin garg.

Students, beware of this kind of colleges.

Placements: In our batch, no one got the placement. During admission, the management told us that they would be providing us placement with the reputed companies, but we got to know about the companies when some of the fake companies visited our department, and no one got selected. Moreover, in our previous batch also, the same thing happened. So, I guess you are aware of the salary package students used to get. Moreover, in B.Tech also, the placement record is like 10 to 15%. So, if you have money and want to collect only degree, please enrol here and help the college management to earn a huge profit from your money. Also, I need to say that it's not necessary to attend classes here in this college. If you study here, please make some good contacts with a few companies as they may or may not help you with the internship and also will help you to get a job similar to your internship. I did my internship on my own. Also, I got a job from my own contacts. I had not got any help from the college except the marks and the attendance and the certificates.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. It's well decorated with fake words of the college management. Believe me, they can convince you to enrol your study programme there. There is free Wi-Fi with no passwords. Medical facilities are there with no help. The canteen has very good food which is very cheap, and you will love it. Also, you can find some of the worst hostels tied-up with this college.

Faculty: The faculty are very good except for some of the rude teachers. They carry a very charming personality with a fake smile and fake words. You will love the faculty. The course structure is very much outdated. I think it got reviewed last in 2001. Here, the teachers are also very much outdated.

Other: There is a huge crowd at the events with big actions as most of the students are drunk. The connectivity is very bad at night. There is no scholarship except for the Muslim students as they get a huge discount on their course fee from West Bengal government. Extracurricular activities depend on you, and if you want it, you can do those. The college is surrounded by tea gardens.
