Review of SITS - Sinhgad Institute of Technology and Science.

Placements: Our course was Computer Engineering. Roles offered during placements were computer engineer, cloud computing engineer, system engineer, and network engineer by some companies.

Infrastructure: Course is Computer Engineering, and the hostel facility is available with a fee of Rs. 72, 000. Hostel is good. College provides the best meal facilities at the hostel. College hostel food and data centers are good. Canteen food is also good.

Faculty: Faculty members are good. Their teaching is also good. College exam curriculum is prescribed by the University of Pune and the college follows that curriculum and data. Exams are conducted very well, with good information and proper infrastructure. The course contains a 70-30 exam pattern. 70 marks for the end-semester exam and 30 marks for the in mid-semester exam.

Other: Overall, campus life is good.

Supportive faculty and relevant curriculum, good teaching quality and poor mess food.

Placements: Due to the global recession, the placement rate for the 2024 batch has been slightly lower than usual. Out of a total of 76 students in the Information Technology course, 30 students have been placed so far. The highest package offered was 7 LPA, while the lowest package was 3 LPA. The average package for the batch is around 4.5 LPA.

Infrastructure: The IT department has functional labs with PCs, though the processors are slow, and reliable Wi-Fi. The library is excellent, while classrooms are average. Hostel facilities include good Wi-Fi and regular room cleaning, but the mess food quality is poor. Medical facilities are very good. Sports and games facilities are basic.

Faculty: The faculty in the IT department are very supportive, qualified, and knowledgeable. They make significant efforts to prepare students for the industry, though additional efforts could enhance teaching quality, which is average to good. The course curriculum is relevant and aligns well with industry needs.

Overall, the environment in the college is good.

Placements: If you are willing to get a job, you will receive an average package of 4.5 LPA in top companies like Accenture, Persistent, HP, etc. These companies are hiring from our college. Faculty will help you gain knowledge about the skills required in these companies. Now, placements depend on how you approach them.

Infrastructure: The department will provide you with a good range of Wi-Fi and LAN connectivity, labs, classrooms, and a reading room. Even the hostel has a reading room for students during the exam period. Hostel facilities are good, but the mess is not very healthy for students who come from other parts of Maharashtra.

Faculty: Teachers are friendly and cooperative. They will guide you in any circumstances. Once a year, teachers will take you for an industrial visit where you can learn and see the corporate world. In the final year, there will be an industrial visit cum trip for having fun while learning about companies.

The placements, hostel, and mess are not good in the college. Only the teaching faculty is good.

Placements: The most super strict department of the college is the department of Computer Engineering. Placement package is around 10 LPA which is the highest package offered in the college. Average package is around 4-5 LPA. The placements are conducted by all the Sinhgad Colleges. So there is a lot of competition to get placed from this college.

Infrastructure: The hostel facility is very good but some issues are present including no Wi-Fi for the entire year, lack of water, etc. The hostel warden is very strict. There is a high class security in the college. The emergency services team is also available 24/7.

Faculty: Faculty members in the college are very good. They are well qualified and very experienced. They are very friendly. They encourage all the students to learn many things and organize extra curricular activities for students’ self development. There are various sessions conducted by them for students development.

Everything about this college is perfect with good placements and well experienced staff.

Placements: The placements for this college are very good. The students get a perfect package and the placement percentage of this college is around 90%. Most of the placements are taken by CS and IT students with the highest package of the college being 56 Lacs and the average package being 6 Lacs. The overall placements are good .

Infrastructure: The hostel is very awesome. There are 4 sharing rooms which are cleaned well with a big hall and attached toilets and bathrooms. Well developed classes with e learning are available for our course. There are good equipments provided for different branches.

Faculty: Faculty of the college is very good with qualified and well experienced teachers and staff. The curriculum of this college is also good with a variety of activities which are helpful for the students to get a perfect experience for a good placement. The exams are taken by SPPU university which is a non autonomous college.

Placements: The college placement is too good. In recent batch 2022, above 80% students got placed with good package in good compony. The compony visit to our college is like nvidia, amazon and flipkart and many more 150+ companies is come to college for recruitment. In Third year Second semester Students gets internship offered by many of compony.

Infrastructure: So basically the Hostel and college Buildings are too Clean and Big. The Facilities provides by college hostel is like Wi-Fi and also cleanliness. Also, a gym is available. Talking about the mess of hostel is good, The food provided by mess is of good Quality and clean. If Any student got Injured or have some medical emergency then, the college have ambulance and urgent Medical service.

Faculty: Faculty of the college is good and well educated. The faculty are from IIT's. The overall behaviour of Faculty members regarding students is to good. The all faculty members is Very Helpful in Nature. The Exams conducted in college are too tough.
