The location and events are amazing, but the college infrastructure and campus are horrible.
Placements: It used to be a government college. After becoming self-financed, the weightage of the general and open category has been reduced. The majority are NRI and payment seats. The fee is 4.2 Lacs per year. The fee for a management seat is 12.5 Lacs per year, and the fee for an NRI seat is 17.5 Lacs per year. SVP Hospital is available for postings and clinics. All the students got internships from the same college. Till the level of PG, various courses are offered in the college.
Infrastructure: A new hostel has been recently constructed. The college has free Janmitra Wi-Fi. There are no facilities for sports and games, otherwise, it's perfect. Labs are well maintained in the anatomy department. Although the museums are rarely opened. The biochem labs are well maintained. The quality of food is average due to the recent change in management of canteen, but it's getting better.
Faculty: The faculty members are extremely helpful and friendly if you are inclined to study. The course has recently been updated to be more clinical-based, so it's helpful as it became less about learning and more about the application. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose MBBS based on my personal interest. NHL is in the middle of the city, which makes it easy for hanging out and going around with friends. The infrastructure of the college is extremely old, and there is no campus. Events are the best part of NHL adrenaline, and Amcon is held at the state level and are the best ones. Every year, there's growth.

Absolutely GOATED college.
Placements: There is a batch of 250 students in each year. You get enough time to study for the post-graduate preparation. The seniors at the college are really helpful. There is good exposure to patients during internships. You get to handle the OPD all by yourself in some departments.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is mediocre as it is more than 60 years old now. There is so much work to be done to improve it. But the facilities it has, are more than enough for an MBBS student to have focused work. There are 3 libraries, 2 separate hostels, and above average canteen.
Faculty: Faculty members at NHL are really helpful. They help you with the exams, research, extra-curricular, post-graduation exams, mental health, and all the things.
Other: The fests of the NHL are well-known and good enough. You get to connect to international students and faculty members at different events too.

My experience with the college summarised in few words.
Placements: We get stipend when we become interns after completing 4 and a half years of MBBS. As of now, I'm yet to complete it. We still get to go to postings in hospital like sharda ben hospital and svp. The average package depends on the college and state.
Infrastructure: There's free Wi-Fi in library. The labs are alright and maintained. The classrooms are air conditioned and huge like a theatre. There's also a room to play table tennis. But the campus is small. The library is the best part with a variety of books and a charging port in case you don't have a charge with you. The negative part is probably the washrooms which I feel isn't very hygienec but I guess that depends on your personal standards. The walls are old with moulds growing on it. It's an old college but renovation is done when necessary. Food in canteen is affordable and good quality, but not something to be boasted about. The hostel is big and the rooms are genuinely good. There are events organised for various sports like cricket, tennis, basketball, squash, badminton, chess etc.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and one of the good aspects about this college. They're qualified and also guide you for research work. The curriculum is also relevant and new topics are always added according to relevance. Hospital postings also aid you in giving the clinical experience needed for your career. Semester exams are definitely not a walk in the park and you have to study hard to ace it. You can't just start studying a week prior and think you can top it. Clearing the exams successfully gives you a sense of accomplishment.
Other: I like the subject and am always inclined towards learning about the human body. I get to know more things about myself and this is interesting to me. I also get to know patients during hospital postings who come from various social backgrounds and it gives you a sense of well being knowing that you helped them. Campus crowd is good and even the fests because they're organised by the seniors themselves. The college is located in the heart of the city and has a good connectivity location wise with riverfront at a walking distance. There's also facility of scholarship but it has few criteria to apply for. Events are when we can portray our skills and talents like singing and dancing on stage. There's also competitions like quizzes on various topics starting from Harry Potter to friends, cooking competition and even eating competition. There's also medical conferences held in our college atleast once a year where distinguished people from our fields all over the nation attend and share their knowledge and experience with us.

NHL is like my second home.
Placements: There were 250 students in our batch. The highest package offered was around Rs.80000 to Rs.1,50,00 per month. There is SVP hospital, which has very good infrastructure and is the topmost hospital in the area. There is also V. S. hospital which was a government one that was set up 70 years ago and that is a good hospital and very helpful to patients.
Infrastructure: Many facilities were provided for students at our Smt. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College. They provided us with air-conditioned classrooms and also provided a 24/7 air-conditioned library. They provide us with very modern technology labs. There was a very peaceful atmosphere around college campus.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. There is no semester exam in our course, but there are two or three internal exams, and they're tough. In our college, the passing ratio is around 90 to 95%. Faculty members didn't teach the syllabus only but also about life lessons. They taught us how to become more successful in life.

The college is approximately 50 years old, but still, its hostel is the best.
Placements: If you want to get admission in MBBS, then you have to score well in the NEET UG exam. During internships, we get 18,000 per month. The amount is increased every three years, as our seniors (3 years back) got 13,000 per month, we got 18,000. After completing MBBS in residence ship, we get 85,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Our college has many facilities. It has the best Wi-Fi. Our college is under municipal management, so Janmitra Wi-Fi is available in our college. It has the best classrooms with central AC and a capacity of more than 250 students. It has 3 libraries, 2 with AC and 1 is an open library. Our college libraries are open 24 hours. Our hostel is the best compared to other college hostels. We have a riverfront view from the gallery.
Faculty: The teachers are the best, but MBBS is more about self-study. You have to study hard. Our college exam rooms are also the best. Papers are quite difficult, but if you can pass the college exams, then you can definitely clear the university exams.
Other: Everything is the best here, but one thing that is not much good is the hospital experience because our college is linked with SVP hospital, and patients in this hospital are few, so we get very less patient exposure.

Absolutely it is the best college as our college makes a future doctor.
Placements: We have not joined the college based on academic percentage. We have joined here via NEET entrance exam. Students should at least score 400 out of 720 to get admission. We are future doctors, so our minimum income will be started with Rs. 50,000 per month. Roles are offered based on the study. If I study only MBBS, then I will be offered as a medical officer. If I study MD MS, then the salary package will be high. Only MBBS students got internships and the hospital is the only place we work.
Infrastructure: Our college provides free Jio Wi-Fi facility. There are air-conditioned rooms which are highly beneficial. Amenities like labs, large auditorium room, canteen are also one of the best. Our college is included hospital because MBBS study is not possible without practice in the hospital. Our hostel room is neat and clean. We play games like table tennis, basketball, and other games
Faculty: Our college teachers are the best. They are very honest and loyal. Medical students get examinations and marks can help them to reach in their field.
Other: I have chosen this course because if there is any critical condition of patients, they come to the doctor and doctor save the patient. It is the best job in the world. The study, research and practice are better to improve our course. Adrenaline AMCON, sports day, and many more other activities are conducted here.
