The college has good infrastructure and faculty.

Faculty: The 2024 scheme is different from the 2019 scheme. The 4th year is purely practical, where we do projects, seminars, and internships. There are two series of exams before the KTU semester exams, which are considered for internals. Exams aren't that difficult if we study seriously. The staff members are very supportive and qualified. They often give additional classes if needed.

Our college mechanical lab is one of the big labs among the Kerala engineering colleges.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and make students active. Our study method is mainly focused on industrial jobs and placement-oriented classes are also available. Semester exams are under KTU and the pass percentage is approximately 96-98%.

SCTCE College Life In Nutshell.

Faculty: Faculty members are trained and good in both academic and interactive areas, with good faculty members in CSE depth. The course curriculum of the 2019 scheme is not relevant to the current industry era. The semester length of the university is short, and hence the exams are hectic. Thus, we as students feel the stress of the exams.

Review of SCT College of Engineering.

Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is quite good compared to other government colleges. Course curriculum mainly focuses on theory. It would have been much better if it focuses practically. There are 2 series of exams before the semester exam. Series exams are much easier than semester exams.

A great institute for undergraduates.

Faculty: Teachers are extremely professional when it comes to the point of academics. The course structure is well-prepared, and it turns a student into a professional that's seeking a good opportunity. Semester exams are difficult enough for a normal engineering student.

My college- The place where I respawn.

Faculty: Teachers are qualified and really helpful in clearing doubts and giving advice to students. Teachers are well-experienced and the teaching quality is of above average level. The course curriculum is good but it is a little bit outdated, in my opinion. The course curriculum is maintained by the KTU, which is a technical board for maintaining the curriculum of the B.Tech course in our college. Semester exams are a little bit tough but not that hard. The pass percentage in my class is around 98% in...

Very good campus environment but a poor quantity of area and a lack of football ground.

Faculty: We have helpful teachers. Some are very strict. Some are friendly. Some teachers take advantage of having the authority to decide the internal marks for students. Some of the curriculums are relevant, but almost 75% are outdated. Advancements for the syllabus should be made.

SCT review facilities, studies, and campus space.

Faculty: All teachers are highly qualified and up to the mark. They have done their accomplishments. Some are weak in subject knowledge. The course does make them industry-ready, but only in some subjects. They are okay. 92% is the pass percentage.

A really good experience for my career.

Faculty: The faculty at SCTCE is highly qualified, with many possessing over 15 years of teaching experience. They are known for their supportive approach and are appointed based on AICTE and government norms. The college fosters a vibrant campus life, encouraging participation in extracurricular activities. Various clubs, including IEEE, NSS, and robotics, offer students opportunities to enhance their skills. The annual cultural fest named Cult A Way is a significant highlight, attracting participation ...

The college was good in the past, but now it is just a shadow of what it used to be.

Faculty: Faculty members are really helpful, but most of them teach only theory, as if they are teaching high school students. They don't focus much on the practical aspects. However, the staff who do teach effectively deliver their lessons with maximum effort.

The environment is good, while placements, infrastructure, and facilities are average.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, and the quality of teaching is satisfactory. They follow the course curriculum of KTU. The semester exams are conducted according to KTU guidelines and under their control. Exams are easy to pass if you are well-prepared, as the questions usually follow the syllabus.

SCTC is an excellent choice for Mechanical Engineering.

Faculty: Faculty members are approachable, with many professors actively engaging in student mentorship for academic and research projects. The student community is vibrant, with senior students offering support to juniors. However, the administrative processes could be more streamlined. The curriculum follows the KTU syllabus, and exams are conducted fairly.

Good campus life and fest experience. Better placements and helpful faculty.

Faculty: Semester exams are conducted by KTU, and series exams by the college. It has high standards. It is the same as the KTU pattern. The pass percentage in our branch is 92% for 2024-S2, AIML (24-27). Teachers are brilliant. They are Ph.D. holders from much-known universities. Their assistance is so valuable that we learn many things from them.

SCT is for biotechnology people.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable in their respective domains. The teaching quality is good. Some teachers also provide notes. The course curriculum is relevant. It does make students industry-ready but ready for masters degree in the respective domains. Teaching staff is present. They are supportive and help students mentally.

Average teaching facility, limited campus space, and good infrastructure and amenities.

Faculty: The teaching quality is average. Some teachers are enthusiastic and help us in understanding the concepts. Most teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The semester exams are of medium level and the pass percentage is 40. Students need to go beyond the curriculum to be fully ready for industry life and jobs. The curriculum is a bit outdated.
