Our college is good, but the management is rude.

Placements: Less than 5% of students got placed in different hotels in Kerala. The highest salary package offered was Rs.17,000 per month, and the lowest salary package was less than Rs.5,000 per month. Top recruiters were Hayat, Marriott, etc. Internships were optional due to the pandemic. Top roles offered were assistant accountant, front-office staff etc.

Infrastructure: The library was not open all these days, and the librarian was not available in many situations. The college has lab facilities but are used less. Kitchen facilities are available to study for hotel management students but are not properly used. Sports and games were not very important as theoretical classes. The canteen serves the food as in hotels.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and supportive. The course curriculum is relevant but doesn't make students industry-ready. Exams are moderate. The pass percentage is above 85%. The course offers many job opportunities, but it is not worth for a student to become ready for the industry.

Other: I chose this course because our college is nearby my place, and the course is easy. The course curriculum should include more practicals than theory classes. Campus surroundings and crowd are good. Fests and extracurricular activities are rare.

SN College Varkala is a very good college that provides very good courses.

Placements: I think more than 50% of students got placed after this course. After this course, students are provided with jobs in many good hotels around with a good stipend. More than 50% of students got internships after this course in many good hotels and also in the Trivandrum district.

Infrastructure: For hotel management students we have very good restaurant and a kitchen which are very helpful for our studies. SN College Varkala has many good facilities that help the students in completing their education. This college has a very good library and computer lab which can be utilised by students for their studies.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in providing all the necessary support and career guidance for students. The exams are generally easy for students. This course provides the students with the relevant skills needed to work in a hotel. The students are groomed properly by providing them with the necessary skills needed to be hotel employees and making them industry-ready.

Other: This course provides me with the professional qualities necessary for a hotel employee. This college made my life colorful by conducting many events which were very good and unforgettable.
