St. Mary’s College: An Experience.
Placements: There are very less placement opportunities provided by our college. Most of the placement opportunities are given to the students of B.Sc. and BCA. Top recruiting company of our college is Wipro. There are no internships provide to the best of my knowledge.
Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the college are amazing. There is a gymnasium, a good canteen, a library with lots of books and magazines, a beautiful garden, good toilet facilities, spacious classrooms, etc available. There are ample opportunities for sports, arts, etc. The hostel facilities are also really nice.
Faculty: The course which I opted for was in great demand at the time of my admission. The teachers are really helpful and well qualified. Four of them have completed their doctorate degrees. The course does not make the students industry ready as it does not provide any outdoor practical experience. The semester exams are conducted regularly and the passing percentage is 40%.
Other: The course which I opted for was a good one. I felt that there should be more practical experience rather than just sitting inside the classrooms. There are a lot of fests and programs conducted.

A better college in Wayanad.
Placements: Several big companies came and also offered internships with average stipends. Startups also approached offering internships to the students. Every student can his/her own internship via online or offline mode. Overall, the experience is great.
Infrastructure: The college has an excellent infrastructure which has all the facilities with equipped labs, library, cricket ground, volleyball court, basketball court, etc. The hostel and the places are very clean in my college. They are well maintained. Food is very good.
Faculty: The college is under Calicut University, so the syllabus is regularly improved. I chose this course because I was interested in banking field. Many events are organized in our campus. All the subjects’ teachers provide knowledge with better understating methods. One on one mentoring is provided.
Other: Superb.

It is a good college. It is NAAC accredited with an A+ grade.
Placements: Placements were very poor and no good companies were hired from here. But, courses provided were good for the future and job seekers need to prove their skills and experience for career growth. Some private banks hire through interviews and job fairs were conducted.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was good with nice library and good hostel facilities. Campus is green with scenic surroundings and calm atmosphere. Good sports grounds, a basketball court, and gyms were available. College was easily accessible and there was good atmosphere for studying.
Faculty: Faculty members were good and some were experienced. They were supportive and some held doctorates. Courses were semester-based and at the end of each semester we had examinations. Exams can be passed with minimal study. Departments were strict, but some teachers were liberal.
