Our college has good infrastructure and facilities as well as best faculty members.

Placements: Placements: The placements are one of the best in Sreegopal Banerjee college. The number of students placed is around 93 per cent, which itself is a milestone for such an institute. The average package of 7 Lacs per annum is offered in the last placement season as per the data from the placement cell. Moreover, the placement cell ensures to get everyone is placed or is part of the placement season.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure: The classrooms are not highly modernised but decent, The campus is quite bigger and has good security on it. The college canteen has one of the best food and is the source of lunch for many people. There is a separate department for medical concerns. Sports and games are not the daily part of the curriculum but are invoked when selections are made for big competitions. Overall, it does not have any issue as such.

Faculty: Faculty: My course is B.Sc. in botany (Honours) The faculty here is very good. They will teach the curriculum in the way they know. Doubt clearing sessions are done by teaching faculty members. But most of the time, students are self-dependent apart from the class toppers who are focused every time. The course is very helpful in learning the core concepts and aspects of plant structure, ecosystem, algae, fungi classes, and their habitat and practical classes are very helpful to us conducted by the department. Overall our department has one of the best faculty members among a total of other departments' faculty members. Exam conducted by the department every week after completing some topics and many practice sessions are also conducted by our faculty members were a great help in our final examination.

Other: Overall, the college is for students who can study an above-average curriculum with not much hard work. There are few events and fests which keep us energized. There is no scholarship for admissions. The campus surroundings are very positive and the people are very friendly. One will have some great years of his/her life.

This college is good for the economically weaker students.

Placements: Only a few students get placed in ITC from the chemistry department, and some students from other departments are placed in TCS with a very low salary. The salary offered is about 2 LPA. But in this college, there is an NCC base camp and they provide great training.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are moderate because of their age, but it has a good library and they provide 4 books at a time. The chemistry department has a good quality lab. This college contains a hostel of about 100 capacity and a canteen is also there. It has a good facility for games.

Faculty: This college does not provide an industrial study to the students so they are not ready for industry. Teachers of this college are very friendly, and they all are Ph.D. holders, so they have in-depth knowledge in their subject. Semester exams are easy, and most of the students can pass this exam.

Other: Our chemistry department has a capacity of 22 students per batch. This is the best branch of this college.

I had an excellent college life.

Placements: I got admission in Botany (Hons) course in 2011. During my tenure, a total of 8% admissions are allocated for botany (Hons) course in our college. Students need to score a minimum of 60% of marks in HS exam in biology to get admission in botany (Hons). This course offers various ways to opt for higher studies.

Infrastructure: Lab facilities in our botany department were extremely good, and the infrastructure and equipment of our botany lab are very well. Both the departmental library and common library contain many useful books. There is only men's hostel on our campus. Classrooms were well cleaned, and the quality of the food served in the canteen is average.

Faculty: There were a total of 8 teachers in the botany department in our college. Most of them were really helpful, and the quality of teaching of 2-3 teachers was very good. I will give the average rating to the rest of the teachers for their quality of teaching. Practical classes were conducted very attentively.

Other: After my 10th board exam, when I took biology as one of the subjects, I started liking it. So, I have a desire to pursue higher studies in Biology. I enjoyed all my 3 years of college life here. The campus and its surroundings provided many memories. The only thing which our college should need to improve is our course curriculum.

I am satisfied because of faculty members and good placements in 2018.

Placements: Around 80% of the students got placed from college. TCS was the top recruiter of our college. Almost 10% of the students get internships from college. The college is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It was accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), and awarded a B+ grade.

Infrastructure: The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. We also have smart classrooms and E-library. Mess & hostel are not available till now. Medical facilities are available, and there is a huge playground. Facilities and infrastructure provided by the college are very good.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful, well-qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is excellent and attractive.

Other: I opted for this college because it is near to home. Even the facilities and infrastructure of our college are very good.

Its good, not for placement but its good for its teaching purpose and its infrastructure.

Placements: It's a general college so there is no opportunity for placement. But it's linked with few businesses association so if your luck is sufficiently good then you can get a job. So you need to study carefully and always try to get as much as possible credit you can gain from exams.

Infrastructure: Its not a free Wi-Fi zone though there has a lot of Wi-Fi-enabled computer in each department. So if you want to do something education-related, you can use them. We have no hostel facilities available in our college but its a good place since all transportation system is available here.

Faculty: The most important thing I love in college is the teaching quality and the behaviour of our teachers. Most of them already got PhD degree and they are all not qualified. I think no one feels bored during classes, which is enough for remembering lessons.
