The worst lab facilities, bad teachers, but good campus.

Placements: Only 80 students from whole college were recruited by TCS, and a few by Kutchina. The highest package offered is 12,500 per month and the lowest is u20b98000 per month Top recruiting companies are TCS and Kutchina. No one got any internship, a few enrolled in internship/ training programs in labs in exchange of money.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi isn't available, in biotechnology department got three labs two for general and one computer lab for bioinformatics but the instruments the lab is not good at all, half of the instruments are broken and not in working condition. Classrooms of our department are not well maintained, classic blackboard is used and sometimes projector is used. Though there are a few departments with great classrooms. Library is also there and it has a lots of books, you can also study there for hours it's really good. I am a day scholar but have to eat at the canteen for a few times and the food quality if the worst. I puked after coming home and got diarrhoea. Medical facility is average, but once my toe got struck in a bench and started bleeding vigorously but no one helped I had to rush to the nearest medical store somehow and treat myself. Annual sports day is organised where all students can participate. Gymnasium is also there.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful if you can flatter otherwise not. But all teachers of our department are Ph.D. holders. Consistent classes are not conducted. Teaching quality of teachers vary from poor to average. I think the course curriculum is no much relevant because same topics are repeated several times, for an instances a topic of PCR is there from 2nd semester, again in 3rd, 4th, 5th and in 6th semester also. This does not make the student industry ready, you have to do Masters from a good college for so. Semester exams are moderate level you need 30% to pass.

Other: Biotechnology is a good subject, there are a lots of opportunities. But would suggest private college. I hope this college improves lab facilities and gets more qualified teachers. Fests are organised almost once a year. And departmental freshers, farewell are also organised.

The best college in Purba Medinipur.

Placements: Students passed out from the college search for government jobs in general, but some companies like IBM, Wipro and TCS visited our college and selected students from different streams. Many students got placed in these companies as per the college records. There is always a huge campusing.

Infrastructure: Students are endowed with modern infrastructure and convenient amenities that make their life go easy in college hours. Some of the facilities include well-ventilated classrooms, recreation areas general auditorium, hostels for boys and girls, indoor and outdoor games, a well-stocked library, a huge playground etc.

Faculty: Faculty members are the best, and nothing less than what you expect. The course curriculum is manageable and easy going. So, you will have fun studying in college. We don't have to write the whole practical file, and it is just a short file. Moreover, papers are not evaluated by the external faculty, everything is checked in the college by our professors only.

Other: It is a good campus in Purba Medinipur.
