STEP 1: SRM TRP Engineering College MTech Application Process 2025

Candidates seeking SRM TRP Engineering College admission to the MTech course must visit the college's official website to apply online. Candidates must first register on the official website and later fill out the application form for final admission confirmation. The steps to be followed for filling out the registration form are:

Step 1.1: Visit the college's official website (apply.trp.srmtrichy.edu.in).

Step 1.2: Register by entering a few basic details such as name, email ID, phone number, etc.

Step 1.3: Login by entering your registered email ID and password.

Step 1.4: Fill out the admission form.

Step 1.5: Upload documents and pay the application fee for application submission.

Step 2: TANCA Counselling

Candidates must now participate in TANCA 2025 counselling rounds. TANCA is a state-level counselling for admission to MTech courses offered by the Government and Government-Aided Engineering Colleges. Candidates must register for TANCA 2025 to participate in the counselling and seat allotment process. Candidates must have the below-mentioned qualifications for the counselling:

1. Nativity: Only the candidates who belong to Tamil Nadu are eligible for TANCET counselling. Candidates need to attach Tamil Nadu Nativity Certificate while counselling registration.
2. Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have a qualified bachelor's degree programme of a minimum of three years duration with 50 percent aggregate (unreserved category) and 45 percent aggregate (reserved categories).
3. Entrance Exam: Candidates must have appeared for TANCET (MBA) 2024 conducted by Anna University.
4. Age Limit: DTE prescribes no upper or lower age limit.

STEP 2: Seat Allotment

After the release of the TANCET rank list, candidates can participate in the seat allotment process as per the schedule on the call letter. During the seat allotment process, candidates can exercise the choice-filling process. Candidates will be allotted seats in the TANCET participating colleges based on the ranks and choices exercised.

STEP 3: Report to College

After the allocation of seats, candidates must retrieve the provisional allotment order and report to the college on the specified date for admission. Candidates must complete the document verification process at SRM TRP Engineering College.
