Really good infrastructure and is worth the money you going to spend.

Placements: Regarding placements, I don't have much knowledge. Our college does provide other programs to upskill the students and also provide internships. Our college also conducts career counseling programs. It has extra skill booster courses that students can take along with their regular courses.

Infrastructure: Our infrastructure is really good. The collection of books in our library is also good. We do get our course-related books in the library. They are always there to help us. We do have hostel facilities but seats available are very limited.

Faculty: The teaching quality is really appreciable. Teachers are hard-working and they always make sure that we understand everything. Along with the bookish knowledge, teachers give us information about various stuff to keep us relatable with the world. Our college also conducts career counseling programs. Semester exams are moderate generally when comes to difficulty. The pass percentage is 33%. Teachers are very cooperative and very friendly.

Other: I chose this course because I really wanted to pursue this course. This course not only provides theoretical knowledge but also teaches us about real problems and solutions. Our college keeps on conducting small events from time to time.

Amazing college life with proper education!!

Placements: Students of the third year are capable of utilizing the facilities of the placement cell, whereas the second years are only allowed to receive guidance. Several students have even received high placement offers. There are various programs for B.Com students where several different guests visit; these guests are usually startup owners, small business owners, or even entrepreneurs. They give lectures about their journeys and organize engagement sessions with the audience.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-equipped. They have all the latest technologies, and the larger rooms have microphones. Whiteboards are available in every room along with projectors. Wi-Fi is available, but the network is limited; only the library Wi-Fi works properly. Labs are well-equipped with all the necessities like glassware, chemicals, microscopes, etc. The hostel provides several games, programs, and trips once in a while while also focusing on studies by having a silent hour where it is compulsory to study.

Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable and qualified. They teach using the college facilities for easier learning and help engage students with their lectures by being more flexible and understanding. The exams are moderate, and the pass percentage is approximately 33%.

Other: Campus life is really good. There are various events happening in and around the college when there are no exams, and the college organizes a week for students with themes; this event is known as College Week and is a popular event among all the students and colleges in Shillong.

I am fully satisfied by the infrastructure and the good placement at present 2024.

Placements: Those students who get 55% aggregate in their 12th are placed into B.Com at St. Anthony's College. The highest package is 25 LPA, and the lowest package is 7 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Tata, Jio, Adani, etc. About 25% of them get internships in these companies. The roles offered are Accountant, Auditor, General Ledger, Project Manager, etc.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided are the best compared to other colleges in Shillong. The labs are well-organized and managed by the college. They provide us with high-speed Wi-Fi, and the classrooms are equipped with projectors and smart boards. The library is filled with up-to-date books. The quality and facilities in our hostel are excellent, as they provide us with good services such as fresh food, cleaning twice a week, and well-maintained rooms. The food in the canteen and mess is freshly made every day. The college provides us with two medical rooms with highly educated nurses. The college also offers both indoor and outdoor sports, such as basketball, football, cricket, badminton, chess, table tennis, etc.

Faculty: The teachers were very helpful to us, not only in terms of studies but in other aspects as well. As per their qualifications, they are well-qualified in their respective fields and have completed their Masters from well-recognized institutes around the country. In terms of making students industry-ready, they help around 70% by providing everything that students need. The difficulty level in semester exams is medium, as students who are attentive in class and do their work regularly will not face any difficulties. The passing percentage in our college is 45%.

Other: I chose B.Com as I wanted to pursue my CA in the near future. This course will help me with the basic knowledge needed to pursue CA. The areas needing improvement are the use of more practical applications. The events that the college hosts are of various types and are held every month, but one of the most famous events is the College Week, which is hosted in the month of April. The campus crowd is huge at these events, and the connectivity is good too. Scholarships are provided to those with 55% aggregate in 12th grade. The extracurricular activities include excursions to village sites, industrial sites, etc.

Review of B.Com in marketing from the St. Anthony's college.

Placements: In this course, there were not many placement opportunities available for the students. Around 15-20% of the students get placed at this college. The average package offered at the college was between 2-4 LPA. Some local companies visit the college for placements in sales, accounts and marketing. Internship opportunities were not available for the students.

Infrastructure: St. Anthony's College had an average infrastructure for the B.Com. course. The college has good-quality facilities for the students. Wi-Fi, labs, libraries, canteens, etc. were available for the students. There were various sports facilities available at the college for the students. The canteen food was good at this college.

Faculty: The faculty of the college was average. The teachers were qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was good enough. The course curriculum was relevant and helped the students gain the most knowledge. Exams for our course at this college were not hard to pass. Almost all the students passed at this college.

Review of St. Anthony's College, Shillong.

Placements: I'd say out of 300 students, only 20 will get placed in campus recruitment since it's voluntary, not mandatory. The highest package offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are HDFC, Canara Bank, and Teach For India. Only 3% got internships from our course on Internshala. The top roles offered in our course are clerk positions.

Infrastructure: We have a Wi-Fi facility, but we can't use it since we are not allowed to use phones within the campus. The food and canteen are good; we have three canteens, of which two are student-friendly. In the hostel, we have a Wi-Fi facility, and the food is really good. We get to eat meat three times a week, which includes chicken, fish, and chicken again.

Faculty: The teachers are well-qualified, but some dedicate their time to teaching us, while others just teach for the sake of it. The course does not adequately prepare one for the industry. Semester exams are quite challenging, and the pass percentage is around 80%, but we can still reappear next year if we can't clear our papers.

Other: I chose B.Com. because I wanted to learn more about finance and commerce. To improve the course, I'll suggest that there should be more subjects to choose from. Events, festivals, and campus crowds are quite good at this college, and scholarships are given to the majority.
